I got a letter from the FOS dated 16 aug saying that they had passed my complaint to their casework support team to await allocation to an adjudicator, that's the last thing i heard! until today
Thats so quick. I think sometimes i put on here the other day, as soon as you send in a complaint before they assign an adjuducator they request things from the firm. The firm then makes a goodwill gesture without admitting liability just for the records as this then goes down on records as non admittal of anything so they don't lose brownie points with the authorities.

But how much did you borrow and then what figures are on the agreement and the repayments, do they match the agreement??

On the "Homeowner Loan Agreement" the "schedule" says

    The Loan: £10,800.00
    The Administration Charge £200.00
    Sub total: £11,000.00
Interest Rate: 1.1465% per month (APR 15.4%)

Total Payments in 84 months. The gross monthly repayment is states as £204.67. the final payment was £236.39 before I refinanced after 3 years and 3 months.

So did you actually borrow £10,800 and receive that amount from them??

Because looking here if you did there was no ppi paid if your repayments were actually £204.67 per month

    Enter loan details

    Loan amount (£) 11000
    Repayment period in years 7
    Annual interest rate (%) 15.4
Number of payments per year 12

    Results

    Amount per repayment (£) 214.74
Total paid over the life of the loan (£) 18038.20
Total interest paid during loan (£)7038.20

Are Barclays not paying up then or is it just the amount is so wrong??
