Quite agree it is very confusing and wish it could be put down here so my brain can understand, although have more understanding now.

In dilema myself have accepted FOS decision re 3 loans I had but feel that I have still not been compensated correctly. Need money so need to agree but do not want to agree in full and final cause that stops you complaining about other things. Cant sleep at moment cause am worried how things can be worded so I can take things further as and when. Am so torn at mom.
I must admit a little time away is what i needed today. I am spending too much time worrying and its giving me sleepless nights too. Its a horrible time for all of us and the waiting around is worse. We are doing all we can and also helping other (hopefully:o ). Someone can check you figures for you maxdp. Have you ever posted them for Tiggrae to look at??

I would just carry on as you are and worry about other peoples claims. Thats what keeps me going cause when i start to think i my own i get all confused again.

    xx

    Hi all PPI Reclaimers

Have listened to SAR and now about to write to FP to reclaim my missold PPI back. I'm absolutely flummoxed as to how to work this out and wondered if anyone could help. Approx Loan details below (not put exact figs as am paranoid the wrong people could be watching):

    Loan: £35,000 over 10 years (120 months)
    PPI: £ 8, 500
    Monthly Loan repayments: £400.00
    Monthly PPI: £ 95.00
Have paid 3 years so far (36 months).

Have no idea where to start as APR started out at 7.7% and is now at 9.6%

any help very very gratefully received.

    Feebs x
it's quite easy to work out

    400 x 120 = 48000 - to pay in total

    95 x 120 = 11400 - to pay in total

95 x 36 = 3420 paid to date - with £7980 still to pay for the ppi element.

you can work out the 8% statutory interest due as you've been unlawfully deprived of money by using the bank charge forum calcuator - just feed in 95 for each of the 36 monthly payments on the dates paid and it will work it out for you

Yeah thanks Di. I enjoyed the fresh air and went for a good walk too to clear my head. Going to sit with the littleun now for a while. Otherwise I will have not seen her today. Poor little mite. I spend more time on here and less with the family. I will be back laters. xx
