Have you two (di3004 & Marshallka) had any luck today?
Nothing to report yet but FOS say there is "activity on one of my claim" but will not say whether its within jurisdiction or not so i am a little confused now.

My keyboard has gone american and the @ is where the 2 is and the " is where the @ should be:eek:

Done it back again now. How strange.

    Hello.
I am new to this and what to know if I can start a topic about PPI and the way Conkers have handled my claim or if I have to start a new topic and how do I do that?
    Thank you.

Hi there and welcome to this amazing helpful reclaiming thread.;)

You can always add this here hun, its good to know how others got on with their claims, or maybe in the discussion/success thread.

I have in the past been onto the Conkers website and read some of the stories of others being mis sold.

If you are one of those I do hope its all resolved now.;)

letter carried on from first letter.

the finance agreement document that was signed would have shown that ppi insurance was purchased when entering into this agreement and shows the full cost of that policy.by signing this agreement, you confirmed that you had read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of our agreement and wished to purchase ppi as specified.

furthermore, following our acceptance of the agreement, the full policy terms and conditions were automatically sent to you at your home address.as well as confirming the policy eligibility and exclusions, those terms also stated that if you were not entirely satisfied with the level of cover being provided,it could be cancelled in full and without cost by writing to us within 30days of date of this agreement.having checked our records,no such request has been received.

in the abscence of any documentary evidence in support of your claim,i regret to advise that we are unable to uphold your claim that the pp policy was mis-sold.as the agreement with us is now settled and you have had the benefit of cover for the period of the agreement,no refund of the sums paid for ppi will be made.

i am sorry if this is not the response you were hoping for, however,i trust i have confirmed our position.

what happens now, need some help here please.

Did the document show the interest rate seperately.as on mine from Picture it just stated the total amount of the premium £8742 and yet on the copy they sent me last week it stated cost of PPi plus amount it would cost me to the end of the LOAN term, total £16.200 as my PPI was added to the loan

Conkers are charging me 25% + vat for money that I will not see. They have canceled my PPI for the remainder of my loan and are charging me for it. I told them that I could have paid a £10 admin fee to the loan company and got it canceled myself. They have recovered what I have paid in the past to the loan company. I don't see why I should be charged for something that I have not even paid for.
    Can someone help me please?
    THANK YOU.

Hi there hun and yes I do see your point here.

You can do all this free of charge, because I believe they only do what we do here hun.

I will be back later, but in the meantime, I'm sure someone else can advise you of your best option here.

Tiggrae may be here later sometime, and I know Marshallka will give excellent advice too hunni.;)

    Will be back later on.

Have you signed a contract with Conkers now?? What have they actually recovered back for you?? I don't quite understand this??

If you asked them to do this then this is how some of these claims companies can rip you off.
