marybakers wrote: »got letter back from tsb regarding mis-sold ppi.it says, thankyou for your letter.i am sorry that you feel the pp policy covering your agreement was mis-sold.it is important that we are made aware of any instance where our customers feel dissatisfied and i have, therefore, investigated the issues you have raised.
when you discussed the loan application and ppi with a member of our staff, you would have been provided with a leaflet summarising the key benefits and exclusions of the cover, that
leaflet also confirmed cover was optional.
only after you were given the opportunity to read the summary leaflet was the agreement document produced for signature.
this is my first letter,i will continue on next page soon.
Hi there Marybakers.
Yep a standard response that is hunni, I have had many of these from Lloyds TSB and now ours is left to the FOS to deal with.
We look forward to hearing more of this hun and whatever you do - do not give up !
Keep fighting, you will get there, not matter what it takes.;)

the finance agreement document that was signed would have shown that ppi insurance was purchased when entering into this agreement and shows the full cost of that policy.by signing this agreement, you confirmed that you had read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of our agreement and wished to purchase ppi as specified.
furthermore, following our acceptance of the agreement, the full policy terms and conditions were automatically sent to you at your home address.as well as confirming the policy eligibility and exclusions, those terms also stated that if you were not entirely satisfied with the level of cover being provided,it could be cancelled in full and without cost by writing to us within 30days of date of this agreement.having checked our records,no such request has been received.
in the abscence of any documentary evidence in support of your claim,i regret to advise that we are unable to uphold your claim that the pp policy was mis-sold.as the agreement with us is now settled and you have had the benefit of cover for the period of the agreement,no refund of the sums paid for ppi will be made.
i am sorry if this is not the response you were hoping for, however,i trust i have confirmed our position.
what happens now, need some help here please.
Thanks for this hun
Now let me tell you, this is what both me, hubby and others received from these hun, they just change the name of the person and the account details.
If this was not their final response, write back and tell them if they do NOT uphold your complaint and refund you, you will not hesitate to take this further to the FOS.

I only have an A4 sheet of paper saying schedule on it with a few details on it. I cant find the 2006 loan agreement anywhere. Yet I have the 2003 on here.......I bet hubby has moved it ages ago. He calls it tidying up!! LOL
Would I need to send another letter to them as I've not given them the full details EG: regarding being sold the single premium? Do you think I would get any response if I e-mailed them?
Cheers Marshallka. You've given me a bit more confidence telling me what you have.
:A
Maybe another letter would not hurt, depends how long ago you sent the first or just send them an email.0 -

Thanks hun
Though I do wonder what excuse they will make this time, I do not have a good feeling about this one, but miracles are known to happen lol....:D .
Will post up as soon as they get back to me.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Any way FP have replied that although they have got the amount of dates term of PPI was incorrect, their offer of £775.27 is an enhanced rebate as the remaining period of cover is only 12 months - they do not say in their letter about reduced monthly payments, so it's in the hands of FOS now!!!0 -

Hello.
I am new to this and what to know if I can start a topic about PPI and the way Conkers have handled my claim or if I have to start a new topic and how do I do that?
Thank you.0
