    Hi Tiggrae

Been waiting for you to be on here. Am having problems with barclays and FOS. What Barclays say is appropriate rebate for 3 PPI on 3 Loans is not what I am thinking is right. Do not have all figures but have had guidance from FOS and barclays not playing ball. Do not know how to sort it all out. Help!!!!!!! Do not want the sharks to win on this they have caused huge problems with all PPI's and unfair rebates (as far as I see) have told them what I want to happen but they not playing ball.:(
HI maxdp -remind me again - why do you think the figures are incorrect?

    Hi Tiggrae

We OH had three loans one taken out in 2002 re finanaced 2004 in feb then re financed 2004 august settled dec 2007 have taken difference between rebate and what was paid. settled FOS decision on difference but have not taken on board fact that PPI on first loan would have been taken through to second loan and first and second \ppi was then taken on to 3rd loan. Were told to make it as if we had never had PPI but they are not taking all these things into account. Just playing usual game. They were asked in April to settle with us and we are still negotiating. They are playing games:mad:

Tiggrae, what must Di do now as regards Endeavour. They have not responded to her second complaint as regards unfair rebate. They did however reply to her first complaint of misselling with a final response so she resubmitted another for the unfair rebate and gave them 14 days to respond. They have not but they did state again that the matter was closed and they referred to the second letter as another letter for misselling (they obviously did not bother to actually read it). Must she now have to give them 8 weeks from the second letter about the unfair rebate one???

I have had the same problem in the past and i couldnt remember simple things like was the box ticked already for me or what. There are a few things you need to consider when trying to claim for ppi. Things like did they tell you it was compulasry? Did you pay upfront and it wasnt explained to you that some ppi policys allow you to pay monthly?

Ive used this website for my claim and was very successful www.consumer-credit-claims.co.uk they have many things to answer any questions you have about making a claim. They also have a PPI claim checklist that you can follow and find out if you hvae a successful claim. They also have a a large list of PPI claim FAQ's which could answer many of your questions so id advise visting this site if you have any problems making a claim.
again they have no company registration details on there website, no registered address, no authorisation number from the Ministry of Justice - Claims Management Registration (which means they are not authorised to carry out claims management activities of any kind) - all regulars on here, if others like these post on here - look at their website and look for those details if they aren't on there then they are Scammers and EVERYONE should be told so !!

what you need are copies of the original loan agreements and settlement figures for each of the loans - we can then work out what you're due including the 8% statutory interest

this is a completely new claim and Di has to give them 8 weeks from the date the letter detailing her complaint was made - once that's expired she can take her complaint to the FOS but they'll only send the forms back if a final response has not been received or the 8 weeks hasn't expired

certainly can do - these guys arn't authorised to carry out claims management activities so the best thing to do is report them to the Ministry of Justice www.claimsregulation.gov and get them shut down as they are operating illegally - everyone just needs to be vigilent - they would probably ask for money to make a claim for people then close down, that's how they scam
