    Hi Tribby

Are UK Loans in liquidation or something???

What is the actual full name and address of the company. Perhaps we can find another address or details about them.

Nothing would surprise me, that's all I've heard of recently is so and so has dissolved, liquidated etc........ .

For anyone who have not heard from these companies when getting in touch, it may be worth checking with the FSCS to see if they have any acknowledgment if those companies are no longer active.;)

Got an email today from the FOS (its all happening!) and they said if needed
they could look in to my complaint with Future Mortgages:
    mis selling ppi 2003

no rebate 2006. They didn't specify which so would I have to do 2 complaint forms?

Future still have 4 weeks to reply but I just want to be prepared.

  • I too am having the same problem, I was sold a PPI from Commitments and wrote to them using the template provided by this site, they replied and said that they were only acting on behalf of the company who sold us our mortgage which was Home and County so I then wrote to them. They replied promptly and arranged for one of their directors to come round and to discuss this matter. This took place yesterday and he said that we were not mis-sold but we needed to fill in a fact finder for them to be able to complete there investigations. He also was asking about our buildings and life insurances and said that they would be able to get them cheaper. After he had left he rang back a few hours later and said that he could get us cheaper insurance and also did we want to cash in the PPI for the remaining 4 months and as a goodwill gesture he would make sure that they gave us a bit more than the redemption figure on the PPI. He also asked for the information on our current mortgage as he was willing to let his compliance department look over the information free of charge as he feels that we were mis-sold our re-mortgage. Needless to say our heads are now spinning. Has anyone else come across this situation and can anybody offer any kind of advice. Thank you.

From what Tiggrae says these are two very different complaints and should be submitted seperately. I would wait for her to confirm this or anyone else but that is what she told me.

If you are going for the misselling you need more back than just the 4 months and a little bit more. I would be very careful here.

Also i have never heard of "house calls" for this type of thing.

Also when was it taken out??

Is this the Home and county you are on about

The FSA has already fined three firms for poor practice in selling PPI - Regency, Loans.co.uk and Redcats. It has imposed a public censure on Eastern Western Motor Group and action was also taken against Capital Mortgage Connections and Home and County Mortgages

    Good luck Pinknico.;)

Hope they sort this out for you.:D

Do you remember when I posted some info about Future mortgages, because you mentioned from what I can recall that you had not heard anything, I assume then that these are not the ones that stopped trading then ?
Am I correct hun, because I have read on some google searches that these were no longer running - unless I misread this of course.

Please double check on this one hun, in case you may be waiting forever for a reply.
Because if this is the case, you will have to move on further with this one such as the FSCS again, but please don't quote me here just in case I am mistaken.;)
I hope I am wrong here and hope they sort this out for you.;)

Here is one of the links I came across and here it is, but I would check this out maybe n companies house and/or FSA register.

If you have been paid out on a claim within the policy , you cannot claim it was mis-sold,(see Martins site- he explains this)but i would definitely challenge the one where you ticked for no cover.

I have not heard naff all from either Click or Endeavour........, a good firm stiff letter must be prepared, need to get my act togther now, enough is enough, although I have already emailed the OFT as advised about the first one, I have had enough of waiting.
I thought okay, I will be fair and wait until the end of the week, being rather soft really, now time to show my real self......  :D .

Any suggestions or thoughts here hun ?;)

I know about "End" Tiggrae suggested 8 weeks but when we think about it, really it should be less because they never obviously read the first letter about the unfair rebate did they ?
