    :j NEWSFLASH!!!

Hello all, well rang the FOS today and left a message for my adjudicator, anyhow i missed his call when he rang me back, and so he left a long message to say he had UPHELD all 5 of my loans, 2 currently live, and 3 paid off,(all between 2001 - 2005) and that a letter had been posted to me yesterday.

Anyhow missed the gym, just to come home, and check the mail, when i came home, a letter was there explaining that Halifax/BOS have accepted his recomedations of a FULL and FINAL settlement of my complaint and their doing it out of a goodwill gesture . PLEASE, anyhow he also attactched his full assessment of the case for my attention, which he sent to the BOS, he even gave examples of where they still added the sum knowing that i was consolidateing debt, so yes im way over the moon.

the only thing im thinking about now is the calacualtions, and how i will be compensated?!?

As i cant see no figures on here, is it safe to send this back to him, and then wait to see what the figures will be and how?????:rotfl:

    thank you all.xxx

    Hi there.

I am only aware that this would be on the FSCS link hun, here it is.
I have not actually checked the defaults list out yet, not sure if someone said earlier that its on their press release above on that page.;)

    http://www.fscs.org.uk/

and the link for FOS, not sure about the list on that one either hun.

Thanks for that - just checking if there is anything about FIRSTPLUS - they are not on the FSCS. I tried looking on the FOS website - what a mine field - gave up too tired

Thank you Di, i owe you a drink!

Anyhow do you think when i send my acceptance form that i should add that, the 3 where i have paid this cash, i would appreciate being refunded back the same way OR shall i leave it to see how it comes back?

I just dont want them (BOS) to do a sneaky one and all the monies to the two loans that are live

    Yep I agree it is a minefield hun...... .

At least Firstplus are still active and you can still try to pursue through these.;)

I am waiting for confirmation from the FSCS about twopart/eloan as they went into liquidation not so long ago, but now the FSCS are yet to have this declared they are in default.
I have an application form in with these (FSCS) and will soon find out if they can proceed with this - hopefully.;) .

    Here's to you Busta hunni...... :D . Cheers.

That one hun, is up to you and how would you prefer it ?;)

The ball is in your court now hun, so if you are anxious about this, maybe you could contact them or just wait, but look at it this way, you've WON.........:j and its all YOURS.........:D :T .

The FOS will make sure they don't pull a fast one hun, I can assure you of that because they sorted mine out for me just after Christmas and made sure a 2nd cheque payment was made to me.

    I am soooooooo happy for you...........:D :j  :T .
