I agree nothing budges them, but if there was a chance of the FOS looking at this then I think it would be a different story  .

Still here now though and don't feel much like partying to tell you the truth. I have had a hell of a day with this Virgin Media business but hopefully resolved shortly. Time will tell.

I think my niece was or still is having problems with Virgin media too, but cannot remember the full story though...... .
I know what you mean, you are put off by the pressure and stress of this, hope this is resolved very soon for you hun.;)

I just spoken too soon about Click not getting back to me, here is the email they just sent me......

    Good luck Pinknico.;)

Hope they sort this out for you.:D

Do you remember when I posted some info about Future mortgages, because you mentioned from what I can recall that you had not heard anything, I assume then that these are not the ones that stopped trading then ?
Am I correct hun, because I have read on some google searches that these were no longer running - unless I misread this of course.

Please double check on this one hun, in case you may be waiting forever for a reply.
Because if this is the case, you will have to move on further with this one such as the FSCS again, but please don't quote me here just in case I am mistaken.;)
I hope I am wrong here and hope they sort this out for you.;)

Here is one of the links I came across and here it is, but I would check this out maybe n companies house and/or FSA register.

Thanks Di, I read this and wasn't sure. When we settled the loan Citi were the ones who sent us the settlement figure, they own Future should I send a copy of the letter to them?

nope - unfortunately MBNA did not come under the FOS's Jurisdiction 6 years ago so they won't be able to look at your complaint - you do have the recourse of starting Court Proceedings though

What do you reckon on this one? Worth pursuing? I applied for the credit card by post without fully understanding what PPI is. A friend of mine told me to cancel the policy two years into it. I didn't know this was optional cover.

Your thoughts or anyone else with experience of dealing with MBNA about PPI would be appreciated.

Hi am having dealings with MBNA or A and L for my OH. Filled in a form when asking for credit card in 2003 ticked PPI box but also stated was self employed. They argued the case and took it to the FOS in the last month. Heard back this week saying MBNA upon checking their paperwork had found some discrepancies and were willing to settle immediately. Do not know figures yet but will publish when i Know.

Other credit card withA and L had since 1999 they rang up in 2005 and by all accounts OH said they wanted PPI even though they are self employed and have health problems:rolleyes: this is with the FOS at the moment and awaiting a decision.

    Good luck:D
