Tiggrae is right, I remembered reading something about "picture" under receivership.....
, annoying this, as I have a similar problem with one of the brokers I used which was Click finance, as they dissolved in 2006, I have been searching information and this company, where this company of Click run as several companies, under the Click group, where the same directors are still active.
I did however write to the director who said he would get back in early August as he was away, this was over 2 weeks ago but had since had a letter reply from the compliance manager to say again they have no reponsibility with the Click I used......
Now I have gone back to the lenders of Endeavour to reclaim on the unfair rebate instead, only a few more days and I should hopefully hear.
Not sure if the director of Click will get back on his own account now though..
Not sure, the only people mentioned are Picture financial services,Combined Life Assurance and London General Insurance.DS1 12/10/04

Hi - looking for advice here with my court claim. My court date v the Halifax is at the end of Sept, and the Notice of Hearing I've had from the court says that 20 mins have been set aside to hear this case by telephone.
"The Claimants Legal Representative must serve a case summary and draft order no later than 4pm on the last working day before the hearing".
Has anyone been at this stated before, and can they tell me what is involved with the draft order and case summary? My Particulars of Claim were fairly extensive, and it would be useful to know what else to include for these subsequent pieces of documentation.
Cheers in advance!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
just got a reply from our adjudicator at FOS concerning the ombudsmans decision
The best point of contact will continue to be myself whilst the case is
reviewed further. I am unable to say at this stage exactly when it will
be progressed - there are a large number of cases awaiting review and
they will be addressed in strict date order. As soon as I hear anything
further I will let you know.
Yours sincerely
so no further forward
just a waiting game now
:wall:still fighting for my money !!!0 -

to be quite honest I'd just take your complaint to the FOS about the mis selling and wouldn't bother with an SAR (don't think I've ever requested one) the FOS have far more power to get the information from HBOS then you have.
They have said i should of known about this and it was over 3 years ago i settled.
Do you think i stand a chance with FOS and this being a single premium policy. Where they say i should of known about it i honestly did not know anything about these single premium things and how they are actually loans...0 -
angelflower wrote: »Hey....sorry if this has been asked a million times before....I took out car finance from GE Money in 2004. The guy in the dealership who did the paperwork was a muppet and didnt have a clue. All the paperwork I had to sign had the ppi preticked and there was no way i could have got the car without agreeing to the ppi. I have sent a reclaim letter and had their final response within 6 days!!! They basically told me i dont have a hope and that i should go to FO. Now, I have filled in the form for them and sent it off so will await their response but there were also so many inaccuracies in the letter from GE Money that I responded to their letter. They have held their ground and said that I have to reclaim from the dealership....surely this cant be right as I didnt pay any money to the dealership???
Anyone had experience with car finance with GE money pre 2005 ruling??0
