    Thank you Tiggrae.;)

So this form the liquidators sent would be for business people and not loan customers, and I right ?
So from here would I need to still contact the liquidators or go straight to the FSCS, as I imagine they would need this letter to prove it ?
    Thanks again.;)
Di, i would now go to the compensation thing from FOS. I really feel for you:mad:

You have got proof haven't you that they have gone into liquidation.

    We need singlep here.

    Hi hun and thanks.;)
Yes I have that letter to prove it but the annoying thing about it is, that I had not even got as far as sending the reclaim letter out yet, where they may require information and proof on that, on that I'm not sure, because I had received this letter from them and a returned cheque of mine as they could not deal with the SAR then it was all confirmed on here about voluntary liquidation.

    Wonder where Singlep is ?

Just to say hubby rang the compensation scheme and the guy who answered said to write to them first before filling in the form or email instead of posting, which I have done just before the phone call anyway, but to add all the information they would require to investigate if they could proceed with this, such as copies of letters sent, received etc, but now I am stumped a bit because I did not end up sending the reclaim letter yet, although it was almost ready to go, but was still working through the miixed up breakdown calculations....., so would that matter as such ? I do have a copy that I could still send to them, but I suppose the main thing is that they would just need proof that the company are in liquidation....

    Any thoughts folks ?;)
    Cheers

Just had a letter from Barclays saying they are not in a position to be able to provide a full response and that i may now take my complain to the FOS as they have exceeded the 8 weeks since my complaint about PPI on an overdraft. They also sent this response about PPI on a loan which I have already sent to the FOS Should I report them to the ICO as well?

LTSB have written to my dad saying no - even though I put in the last letter that they had paid out on the last one - looks like that will be going to the FOS as well.

Hope somebody has had some good news!
LTSB PPI - £770 ish for dad
LTSB PPI for dad - £1800 for dad
    Barclays PPI claim for self-£2204
Dads home insurance - reduced by £200 a year "WE DO NOT LIVE IN FLOOD AREA AND I DON'T SEE WHY WE SHOULD PAY FOR THOSE THAT DO - I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR"!

Of course report them to the ICO.. after all its a rule that they should respond within a timescale.:D (Don't let them get away with it). There is a complaint form online to do this.

I am off to FOS with my co-op one as well. They have now final responsed me with "no". Just have to wait i suppose now.

    pm'd you yesterday sarah

I would say that if you already know a company is in liquidation then they will not expect you to get copies of letters from them. After all, most things go astray in cases like this anyway.

They perhaps meant copies of letters prior to liquidation about the loan etc.

    Hi Sarah
I agree good news would be a good thing for a change wouldn't it hun? .
Seems like its one of those unlucky days..... .
Yes go to the ICO, they've had more than ample time to deal with this.

If that was your dad's final response letter hun, then I agree get that FOS complaint form done, and I would personally tell LLoyds your doing just that anyway, even if this was added in the last letter you sent.;)
Sometimes this gives them a change of heart.

I have known a few to actually contact Lloyds or whoever their company was, where they have suddenly backed down, not saying we're all that lucky but you never know.

I did actually email Lloyds to tell them that I have continued to go along with the FOS for further investigation then within an hour or two received a reply to tell me that someone was going to contact me within 9 days, now I worked that out to be on working days early next week, so we will soon see.

Good luck with these reclaims hun, keep at them.:D ;)

no the form from the liquidators will be to all 'creditors' of the company, you can still fill in the form for the liquidators but as they've gone bust you'de probably only got say 2p for every pound owed. Send a copy of your letter of complaint to the FSCS with a copy of the letter from the liquidators, but they should know if e.loans have gone buse

Sorry sarah, i think i may have been having a very confused day. Its the ICO for non compliance with Data etc and FOS for not responding to your complaint within the timescale. :o
