    hi there

I'm already in the process of reclaiming PPI from Egg which is with the ombudsman.

Just a quick question, I'm sure I've read somewhere that you can reclaim PPI off overdrafts. Is this right? My overdraft is with a dca now, so would I still be able to write to barclays if this is the case?

My puter was virused the other week and Laini's this week. Perhaps these companies that we are all claiming from are planting viruses on our site.

I would imagine that its the same method as on loans etc. I do not know how this works on claiming as its now being handled by a DCA. Perhaps they could advise you about this.

no mate - I've even waited a week since letting them know i'd phoned the FOS in case it prompted them to do something - they only have another week to respond about my complaint on the PPI on my overdraft as well, wonder what the FOS will think if they get another complaint from me about the same bank? what did you mean when you said they've put their rates up?

Hi, I went into the bank (Barclays) to complain about this (large open plan branch) and complained rather loudly, they sent my complaint straight through on their computer, they have sent me 2 letters so far promising that they are looking into, their last one said they would contact me by 8 Aug (the 8 weeks deadline for a final response is up on 11 Aug) so i should get something this week. It's always worth a try, but do it in a branch if you can cos it's quicker, they also should give you a print out of your complaint there and then
