Cool, well done hun, a nudge now and again will help too, they know how serious you are about getting to the bottom of this.;)
Right then, okay, its been with the FOS since Jan 08, so it should be anytime you should receive some feedback or at least an update, Nemo could do with a push really couldn't they ?
Very helpful to have the same guy, this goes to prove its not the FOS taking his time but Nemo being soooo slow like they were with me...... , well the FOS will not wait forever for them hun and will have to make his own decision without waiting to hear from them lagging it on, they had a bad habit requesting for extra time all the time, the FOS gave it but his own deadline and not their's lol....:D .
Everything staying crossed hunni.
Did you ever have a SAR from nemo hun ?
I'm curious, because the stupid unprofessional comments on mine was absurd, how pathetic can they be ? lol......:D

Absolut_Wench wrote: »Yup, I've written back to them asking for any recorded phone conversations, as the initial application was taken out with Norton over the phone.
There was no info regarding the PPI, so I've asked them for that also.
My letters are very polite and formal, but also convey the message "sort this or you'll be sorry" :rotfl: They'll probably ignore me, so I might need your heavy letter
My parents are quite proud of me - they reckon it could become a whole new career :rotfl:
I'm tempted to just camp on their doorstep being embarrassing until they sort it out. Their offices aren't all that far away :rotfl:
The SAR paperwork shows commission of over £3K on one document, but a "no commission" tickbox on another. Don't know how we'd find out whether commission was paid or not.
Theres also a lot of info obscured by thick black marker pen. I'm sure that must be dodgy.
Thanks for adding this hunni and if you have not done this already I would SAR Norton hunni....;) , well worth £10, as you know.;)
Here you should receive further information on the account where these would be more responsible of the sale of the loan, and should provide any telephone calls.
You can then battle these hun, I feel Endeavour will tell you to pursue this through the broker which was that of Norton, and if Norton were a regulated company in 2004 then you can also take this to the FOS, they may have been with GISC, will check this out for you.;)
As you know the information will help, the brokers should provide what you have not been supplied with from Endeavour.
You will then know or should find out about the commission paid to the broker from Endeavour.
Endeavour told me to pursue through the brokers, but in my opinion you will have a stronger chance here.;)
Wow, handy to have those lot practically on your doorstop lol.....:D , good job I'm not lol......:D.
What do you think hun ?;)

Once I've sorted out a few more claims I want to complain about the comments they made on mine, did you read any of them I posted over the last few weeks hun ?;)

I think its definitely worth a shot at Norton (I hadn't thought of that, doh!).
I'll get Dad to sign another chequehis chequebook hasn't seen this much activity in ages
Actually, on the subject of cheques - Endeavour insisted on two £10 SAR fees as the loan was in the joint names of both parents
Is that normal for joint loans?
Endeavour are based in Bracknell, and I'm in North Hampshire - about 25 miles if that. I should go and be loud and Welsh on their doorstep :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
ps Di - I'd definitely put in a complaint about the comments on your SAR. Really unprofessional :mad:LBM November 2005: approx £32K :eek:Current debt: approx £12K :TGetting there one day at a time0 -
marshallka wrote: »Thanks Di, i am not a sympathy type person so i have never informed them of any of this but i have got my letters here from our docs and neurologist. Also when i settled the loan I had a breast lump and i was waiting for my biopsy. My solicitor settled with them as i had had enough and the arguing with them (firstplus) and not knowing the outcome was just too much. My solictor requested the figure on 21st March 2003 and i had my breast appointment on 10th April. (got letter here)Again another worrying time. We thought the worst and just wanted to get things sorted. Firstplus gave us such a hard time at settling. I was going through all this and they just kept saying that we knew everything at the time we took the loan out. What crap.
Hi hun, your like me, not the sympathy seeking type, and due for tests myself due to a few members of my family being through this and now I'm coming up 40 I am waiting for a letter, now like my bank are and were aware of my situation, also other health issues but they do not listen to they ? .
But when it came to the big loans, secured ones then they shoved on a single front loaded policy on my hubby, but was told it had to be accepted to be accepted sort of thing, but yet they go through the same answers that we were aware and blah blah blah..... .
How inconsiderate they are with you the B**T**R**, sorry but had to say it, this has got me fuming !!!!!!!!

Thx hun.;)
Was the PPI just in your dad's name as a single cover hun ?
The reason why I say that is because even though the loan may have been joint, the PPI if just for the person who had this product I would only request for that one.
Because this is based on the PPI itself, its up to you hunni, but even though me and hubby were joint on the loan I only set up a SAR request for him, surprising what is added still with both names still in the information.
We still had enough info sent to cover for the complaint on the SAR.
Unless the PPI covered them both of course.
Even with the SAR I'm requesting now from E-loan, its only signed for my hubby to have this because even though again joint in loan, it was his PPI.;)
So handy living nearby lol.......:DThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Arh you won't lol, but at least your doing the right thing hunni, sorry about your poor dad though sweetie.
I have not gone yet but when I do there is a unit which is also to do with genetics, think its the Velindre Hospital in Cardiff, my youngest sister and Mum were based more local and dad local too, but as they've had this, myself and the rest of the family are referred to actuall genetics, good thing I think but not everyone agrees I don't think but to be aware of these things is essential, and your not off topic really hun, because think of the insurances especially PPI that are ripping us off, this will warn others.;)
