Well, I'm no expert but I can drop in a bit of good news.

I have been having a letter a month from the FOS saying they have a high volume of cases, so my case against Halifax is still waiting to be assigned to an adjudicator.

Last letter of this type was received at the beginning of June.

I had a letter this morning to say the FOS have upheld my complaint, and Halifax have to pay back all PPI premiums, plus interest, plus 8%

    :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

So, hang on in there - it looks like things are starting to move :D I only referred to the FOS at the beginning of April

I'll post (on the success thread) how much when I get confirmation of the figures

Wow, well done this is brilliant news, looks like this one was more or less straight forward then going by the short time the FOS dealt with this, great news.;) :D .

I have a LLoyds TSB credit card ppi claim in with the FOS right now, in fact checking by track and trace they had received this over 3 weeks ago, yet I have not had any confirmation from the FOS yet, my hubby's was sent just after and he has already received his confirmation letter, so I suppose this can also depend on who's desk the paperwork lands on.;)

With Nemo it was over a year, well just by the time they paid out, yet they were also trying to fight this out, asking for extra time all the time from the FOS...... .

Anyway, great news, well done, and onwards and upwards from here.;)

The support from this site is great, but I am going to cancel the other claim as it has already cost me £210 and now they are asking £200 to be sent in with the allocation questionnaire. It is not the money really but the principle of teaching these people a lesson, and to be honest I felt pretty humiliated in that court room as I knew I was in the right.

I am still a bit mad about it and thinking of horrible ways to get back at them. Think I will send them a Laini's SAR request just to give them a load of hassle.

Got a complaint with the ICO as they wont give me a copy of another loan I had.   . Maybe I should go to the newspapers

hi im sorry to hear you didnt win its si unfair,im thinking of not bothering with my court hearing now you cant beat these big companies:confused:

    Hi there YEOSAL

Again I am very sorry to hear of your loss here.

I was wondering if there would be another way round this without having to spend any of your money.
I know you have gone as far as the courts, but is there anything you think you have missed ?

I may be talking silly here, but if I come across anything or any information that I think may help I will let you know, thats if its okay by you.
Could be a bit of a long shot now that you have been to court, but maybe worth looking into.

Will get back to you if I find anything okay hunni, but don't want to build your hopes up here in case there is nothing more that can be done, will do my best though.;)

    Tiggrae, another for you here.

I have looked back at your posts about Bespoke and note that you say that they hold a consumer credit licence but at the time of my loan/ppi they were called Karacus Limited and did not change to Bespoke until 2003. I need to know whether Karacus Limited ever held a CC licence here in the uk and from what date. This is REALLY important.

Where did you find the information out that Bespoke had the licence. Was it the OFT???
