would really appreciate if someone would kindly assist me on my figures to reclaim ppi from Barclays bank..

Just been googling again and looking up Karacus Limited (now known as Bespoke) and aparently we are told we went through an advert of lowcsotloans.co.uk and i have found an "old" advert of theirs here

This was in 2001 as I was informed that Freedom were not members of GISC until then. ALso the site states owned by Karacus Limited but no mention at all of Karacus being in Gibraltar.

i asked them to cancel my ppi but they havent responded and there isnt long till the 30 days are up i didnt get a breakdown really just a statement of payments ive made and something called capitalization which i dont understand

Hi I can give you the name of someone in customer care within LLoyds TSB, I had a similar case and got the money back for them within 3 weeks !!!

you need to give us how long the loans were for and how much were the monthly premiums

to be honest I don't know the answer - plus your case is possibly complicated by the fact your loan was unregulated (ie above £25k wasn't it) so not covered by the CCA '74, therefore, I don't know whether any of them had to hold a Credit Licence when the loan was sold to you. The OFT would be able to help better than I

where does it say they were members of the GISC, it states FISA but I couldn't see GISC

No tiggrae, it was not unregulated. It was £21463. I thought it was unregulated but had been looking at the old 15k so what are your thoughts. I thought over 15K were unregualted but as i say ours totalled £21463 and i will find out tomorrow if they were operating without a licence at the time of my loan and if that is the case then i may as well of asked any old tom !!!!!! or harry to do it because it was ILLEGAL to do so.

I trusted them with my finances and to advise me and broker the loan and tell me what i could and could not afford. They have misrepsresented themselves to me rather than missold the ppi.

Hello, tiggrae, thanks for taking the time

The 1st loan was a single premium it is from 1/03/05 totol term was 60 months, then i refinanced it with another loan, on 31/3/06.

The first loan ppi is 60 months X £34.17 the APR is 9.9%
The second loan ppi is 84 months X £64.26 the APR is 10.9%

this is the details on the 2 loans.

So How do i work out what is due for refund.

They have accepted all that policies were mis-sold, and would refund it all in full,
