They are NOT allowed to discriminate you, something has gone amiss here on their part and they have gone wrong.........AGAIN !!

I would not leave that there !

I have been trying to find that link I added here before, this guy is the one that considers these complaints, he is over them again to my knowledge and I can't for the life of me find it now !!!

Your situation can be explained, then its not down to the adjudicators manager, it will be down to this guy if he thinks they should look at this !
She that spoke to me today is the person who actually considers the complaints before being passed to an adjudicator and she said that although passed again yesterday it was a mistake and got passed straight back to her for looking over. She stated that she knew that my complaint was only about "unfair rebate" this time but still not something they could consider.

THEY HAVE discriminated in my eyes. And I am left with over £6K shortfall as the misselling would have been with stat interest over £12K. Now do you see why I went for this unfair rebate here....and my figure was not hiked up as well. It WAS what we paid for it... I know these agreements whereby rule 78 was not used are different but mine was truely that much....I feel so let down by this blo**y country.

    Hi there
I would get some reclaim letters in and also request for copies of the written breakdowns in a separate letter, check out the above link "reclaim £1'000's" and on there you will come across some mis selling information and the template letter is also on that link, they have 8 weeks to respond.

Write as much as possible to back you case, keep at them.;)

If your unable to find the template link let us know.

You do not need to add the figures to your reclaim at this point hunni good luck !

Already done all this, the guy I spoke to today said he hopes to have a letter out to me next week with a decision which I am very suprised about considering the hassle my mum had.

I was preparing myself for an offer if they find in my favour, I want to know what they are offering me is correct and not a pittance of what I should get.

Mine was settled in 2003 and I know that they did change insurers sometime. (I think it was 2006). I have had thoughts about this and whether cause it was changed to barclays insurance then them complaints are able to be looked at but mine was 2003 and still with the other insurers but again, no-one was told to make the complaint against the insurers in the first place. Catinthehat is in the same position and also Anna jade and they are passed through.... Its just me. Laini was about unfair rebate too...

    This isn't right !!
You can go to complaints to the FOS can't you not ?

I'm glad the others are getting there's sorted but this should be the same for you too, if they look at one in the same situation then the same should go for you, I would be inclined to find out more about this, and its knowing how is the thing right now.......

    Sorry if I re-read your other posts hun.....:o .

Right then, they have provided you with the amount then and you would like these checked first ? am I right ?

Did they send you the full written breakdown of this ?
For example the amounts paid out during your loans
The months you paid ppi into this from start to finish ?
    The charges involved ?
    Interest etc ?

If they have not then a FULL written explanation one is the one to work from.
I am not the one for calculations, but tiggrae, and marshallka are good at this and will post up if it can be worked from what you have already added.;)

  • Hi guys, I visited CAG forum earlier and they have a template on there to work out how much PPI you should get back, I don't know if you've had a look at it, it's an excel spreadsheet, so I put the details in about my loan and PPI and it came up with a figure of around £5.5k, which fits in with what Marshallka was saying earlier today about the £8k being too high.

I still don't understand though how I could possibly expect anywhere near that amount back when the original PPI was for £4384 and they gave me a rebate of £1054 on early settlement of the loan, is it because of the interest they added on over the whole term?

Someone on consumer forums here about firsplus cashback policy and underwritten by

Regarding the policy, I had to return that to the company when I claimed the cashback so dont have anything written. Have phoned firstplus today ans asked for a copy of the policy but informed that since 2003 they have their ppi policies underwritten with another insurance provider so they may not be able to help my there.

    then this person wrote here

Re the Policy, I may be able to help there..lol I have a copy of the policy document that was in force when I got conned into taking out the policy in October 2003. If you need a copy let me know and I will scan it and email it to you. The one I have is Underwritten by my friends at LLoyds, I believe it was just after then they changed to policies Underwritten by Barclays in Ireland.

    I already have it di.

I gave you the details earlier when you mentioned Zurich and yet the majority was underwritten by LLoyds. I could not understand why you picked the Zurich one when I aksed you as that is the the one that is not uk based and also only underwrote 25% and yet lloyds was the highest at 40%.
