    Hi Di and max,

Can I pick your brains please.

My fella used to be somene else's fella (before I got with him I might add)

They got a secured loan through Nemo. It was a joint loan and was for an awful lot of money.

He was left with the entire debt when they split up.

    My question is this.

Does he need both of them to complain about the mis selling of ppi or can he do it?
sorry for butting in here, if this is joint then yes you would need to do this joint with the ex:eek:

Yes I sent the agreement in with the application form....... , I am going to try to ring again shortly, that number they have given its either busy or no answer ....... , will try again though, but meanwhile I have emailed them to tell them that we do not get provided with a insurance certificate where Norwich Union was the insurer and explained the loan and ppi was bundled together as shown on the agreement I already supplied them with...... .

I think they have lost some of the documents, because why did they not request for this on the last request for information ?
Have you sent them the breakdown figure...

    Hi there hunni

Now if this was joint loan where they both signed for it then I assumed its the responsibility of them both, down the middle then.

I would contact the advice bureau about this because it should not just be one sided.

    That is my opinion anyway.

Arrangements can be made for both to meet half way here, I'm sure this can be done.;)

I hope this resolves and I am wishing you luck.
Please let us know how you get on hun, thanks.

    Hi There

I think you will find that you would both have to agree if the Loan was in both names, although the PPI would probably only have covered your fella (who used to be with anuvver:eek:).

Is the PPI big enough to share mind you if it is through NEMO it is probably large and is he on friendly terms at all to discuss with her.

Di, I have seen this question before on here and it is joint and both need to sign etc... If you request a SAR then the sar will only include things for one person if the other has not signed. It is the same with the loan/ppi thing. If you won you and the loan was joint then you would both need to apply your signatures of acceptance. One can sign for all the other stuff but to receive the money its both to sign. It is rough when only one has continued the loan though..
