I am doing my head in now wondering if its all four loans or maybe just one or two. If its all four I will be sooo chuffed. Do they sometimes offer a gesture of goodwill of maybe a couple of hundred quid to the FOS???
I am going to be murder on here now til end of week...
Never been in this situation to be honest hun of offers.... , maybe Tiggrae could tell you here.
I do hope its the 4 loans too, and I do think the FOS will have copies of the figures because they did with mine from Nemo, and if the FOS think its an unfair offer maybe they would say - don't really know for sure...., but lets just hope then hey .........:j
, I can't wait to know !!!
Please remind me hun, were any of these prior to 2005 ?
And/or is this about the unfair rebate ?
Sorry to confuse again......:o.

Do you know of any one who has had their complaint upheld even though not a single premium. I am complaining about they way it was sold
I do expect there has been and is now hun, and it should not make any difference as such because they still mis sold you anyway, so you still have a strong case.;)
Its like catalogues and stuff like that people do still seem to be successful in most cases and these are alone insurances to cover the goods etc, that you should not have to have if you did not require it or did not want it.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
REF: LOAN 100031409895
I am writing to you in regards to your letter dated 25th July which I never received until you sent a copy of it with your last letter. I do not feel your letter has offered a satisfactory justification that my policy was sold fairly, reasonably and within my best interests for the reasons below:
The PPI was mentioned but your adviser did not tell explain to me the full cost of the product, which is very costly and I could have looked elsewhere for a cheaper option if I was told this was optional which I was not. Nor was I made aware that the single premium policy was in fact another loan to pay for and that I would be charged interest on top of this for the full term of the loan.
Due to the time span of when I initially took out this loan, I no longer have the policy document. I did request this in my initial letter, but to date have still not received a copy. As I was self employed I would like to see evidence that I would be covered under the unemployment benefits section.
Finally, you stated that I elected to protect my risks by purchasing an insurance contract for a one-off premium of £2344.59 . Again I would like to have a copy of the phone conversation as I was not informed that it was a one off premium and the loan agreement form was pre-ticked by a computer not by myself.0 -

I first complained to the co-op and asked for these agreements. I told them of the complaint of the last loan as I knew there was definately PPI applied cause I had worked it out by the amount we loaned and the APR etc and that I had requested all the agreements over 7 weeks prior and was told by their staff that as they could see "no PPI" had been applied to these". I then got a reply of "will take 4 weeks to look into the complaint".
In the meantime I got all four agreements and wrote again to say that all four were missold. I in between that then got my final response and never had a response to the letter whereby I actually complained about all four and still have not today. They completely dismissed the one that I had complained about and never replied to the letter about all four (after receiving my agreements from them and being told prior to that by the girl on the phone that no ppi was on them anyway..). I asked the FOS about ten times if I needed to send in seperate complaints for the others and even downloaded the forms and still have them here. I never got any reply to that. I have not got a response to the complaint about all four loans but they dismissed the very last one as being over 3 years since I should have been aware so I very much doubt they were going to say "yes we missold on the other 3".
I asked the FOS today if it was all four that were being looked into and she just said "did you mention all four". I had so maybe they have.
If this is only for the misselling of one or two of them then I will send in another complaint for the others here too although they were in 1997 and 1999 as if the others are found to be missold then all four in my eyes were missold.
Loan taken 2002 settled 2004
Loan taken 2001 settled 2002
Loan taken 1999 settled 2000
Loan taken 1997 settled 1999???/Consolidated I think. Don't know for sure....0 -
Please can anyone help me is the following letter good enough to send as my final letter to lloyds:REF: LOAN 100031409895

Hi there hunni, hope you don't mind but I have added crosses here on your account number, do you think you could edit yours and do the same, just for your own security of this. Thank you.;)
Yes your letter is great and straight to the point. Lets hope they do reconsider on this one now hey ?
I think its ready to go hun.
Its seems you have covered all areas and the next if unsuccesful will be to the the Financial Ombudsman service.;)
Well done on fighting these hunni.
Hope you did not mind me crossing your acc number hun.:o
Cheers.....:D

I then mentioned on the FOS form that I had actually had four loans but did not know if I could complain about them. I then got a call from the adjudicator asking if I had given the co-op a chance to look into all four loans and I had and he then found the letter at the bottom of the pile. He then asked me the question "when did you become aware of this misselling". I replied "since the media attention". Next he said he would next write to the co-op about this.

I do think they should deal with the 4 - well I hope so anyway, and of course to me its obvious if one of these were mis sold by them then they all would be.
I do hope they are looking at the other 3 too because I do feel that the CO-OP would still provide them with details of all loans, because one was after the other sort of thing, I do like I said have a good feeling about this and I do really hope so now after all your effort you have put into this, its been so agonising for you.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Perhaps if you send this now you could state in it that you now need a final response from them as this has gone on way past 8 weeks.0 -
marshallka wrote: »Sounds good to me cheaptrick. Was your previous one not a final response and why have you taken so long to reply to it now if you don't mind me asking...
I do remember Cheaptrick received a standard fob off first letter from Lloyds, like I had received, and this is the 2nd letter to send.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
