Hi, I spoke to FSCS again last Friday regarding Picture. As usual thet are still wailting for them to be decalred in default. Said it could be anytime now.(think i've heard that before). But they did say the complaint it is being worked on as we speak a team and they had contacted somebody - not sure if it was from picture.
We will just have to be paiient!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for that. I just get someone really unhelpful who says they have no time limit and can't say when it will happen and can't look at anything until they are declared in default.:mad:DS1 12/10/04

Hi there hunni
They don't seem to let on much do they or keep you updated?.
I would have thought they worked like the FOS and kept us updated but obviously not - saying that the FOS don't always get back when they say they will either.....
I would not have known they were investigating either if I did not ask, where you would think they would let us know...... , and not for us to be asking. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
My son is not well today, kept him home from school, he has had a high temp, his ears are playing up and its all on his chest, he is also asthmatic...

Lloyds don't appear to be in any position to lend more money!!DS1 12/10/04

Thanks Marshallka hun.;)
Yeah your right hun, yet he hates cuddles........, I think a lot of it is due to his ASD, as this is one of the things associated with autism, but still, like you said there is not a lot you can do, the doctor told me by phone he is to have extra on his steroid morning and night just to keep his lungs open sort of thing, put some olive oil in his ears and give paracetomol. Thank you hunni.;) xx

Thanks Pinknico.;) Yep I am a bit on the tired side and have a job to think straight.
Yes regarding Lloyds they are not really in that position to lend more money, these letters they go straight in the bin lol.....:DThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I do remember adding this link a while back. This was printed in "Whatconsumer" in April 2008.

Hi there Mark and its good to see you here.
I will help all I can here and Marshallka is also a very good guider here.
I note your loan was in year 2000, myself or Marshallka maybe one of the others here will be able to check if they were covered then by GISC in and I assume these would be, so if that is the case and you were not successful in reclaiming on your ppi the financial ombudsman service would investigate this complaint for you.
Not sure if you checked out the links I sent you, but anyway, you should still try to pursue on this and get a complaint letter in and explain your reasons of why you believe you were mis sold.
I think you still have a case here as the product was not explained to you in order to make up your own mind if you wanted this or not and you may not have been eligible anyway.
Check out that link hun and try to add as much information as possible on your letter, they have 8 weeks to respond to you, hopefully it will be successful first time round but if not another letter should be sent for them to reconsider this and again is still unsuccessful you should be able to take your complaint to the FOS for them to investigate this for you.
We can guide you step by step here, so first thing first, send the first letter.
Wait for the response, then get back to us in order to know where to take it from there.
For the FOS to take a look you will have to receive a letter from the loan company which states "final decision" and the letter should also mention that you would be eligible to take to the FOS.
If this does go as far as the FOS a complaint form will have to be filled in, and if possible enclose any copies of correspondence to include a copy of the final letter from the company.
However, like I said, just post once you have heard and we will take it from there.
You are free to post anytime and if you require further info hunni, please ask anytime, your most welcome.;)
Good luck!
Marshallka, please could you confirm if this is okay for Mark to still try to pursue this, thanks hun.
Di.

I am not certain but like I say, just ring and ask at the FOS to make sure after you have had a response of course from the bank.0
