Totally agree the 6 year rule does not always apply, don't give up until you have done everything you can. Egg may not be telling the truth here, don't trust everything they say.If I've learnt anything from this site its that!DS1 12/10/04

Hiya hun
Like Marshallka says, yes be careful, me also have High BP and on medication for this for the past few years, and have regular ECG's, so like us here be very careful not to get too worked up hunni......and all the best at the doctors, hope all goes well for you.;)
It makes you think though doesn't it of why we are suffering with our health with all this stuff being ripped off........The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi, I spoke to FSCS again last Friday regarding Picture. As usual thet are still wailting for them to be decalred in default. Said it could be anytime now.(think i've heard that before). But they did say the complaint it is being worked on as we speak a team and they had contacted somebody - not sure if it was from picture.
We will just have to be paiient!!!!!!!!!

Hi there busbyh
Good luck then, I have recently been told by the FSCS that its only now they are investigating Twopart/Eloan limited....... , so yep mine is going to take some time then....., as Picture is already on the list I am sure it will be sooner rather than later, so I have everything crossed here for you and Pinknico and everyone else waiting too.;)

marshallka wrote: »Be very careful here angelwillow. Its not worth it when you are medicated in that way then you really cannot take risks. I ended up in hospital by wheelchair 4 times and I was not allowed to walk anywhere. I had malignant hypertension and the meds to get it back down were awful. I know this is not doing me much good now but I have to fight back. Things can wait for a while until you are more stable. You could cause a stroke or heart attack if you are not careful. We will all fight for ya until you are strong enough again.:D
Angelwillow, take note hunni, our Marshallka is right, and we are all behind you and stick together here.;)
We have a wonderful thread here, and I think the world of you all, and we look after one another, and listen to Marshallka now, bless her she has had a very bad time of it, (hope you don't mind me mentioning this Marshallka hun but need to warn others).......:o and listen to your body.;) xxxxThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Good luck Chris, keep us posted and we all wish you the best.;)
Just to also say if you have copies of any evidental documents enclose them as well and the copy of the final decision letter from the company, to save any come backs at this stage, and if your financially struggling I would also mention about the "fast Track service", okay its not guaranteed but maybe worth a try, and what I done was enclose a copy of my recent bank statement to prove this.;)

Hi Doddy
As a fellow FirstPlus complainer, I just wanted to say that I had the same fob off letter as you and I then asked them for copies of the conversations and Agreements which they sent without my requesting a SAR (although they did hold the most incriminating conversation back hoping that I wouldn't notice but I did and I managed to get it off them eventually). Might be a bit quicker than requesting a SAR cos you can bet your bottom dollar that they won't give in without you going to the FOS! They did eventually offer me an enhanced rebate though but I didn't accept it so I am sitting in this queue for the FOS. They would point out about the refund wouldn't they cos it's not half as much as you would get back if you won!!
Many thanks Anne.jade. I telephoned First Plus this morning and spoke to the man who is in charge of our complaint. I asked for copies of all the phone calls/paperwork and he said thats fine no problem will sort that for you. I said I want ALL the phone calls on disc and surprise surprise the one which they definately said we had to take the PPI out is corupt and cannot be accessed! I explained to him exactly what was said and also stressed once again that we weren't asked if we had existing cover. I am going to wait for the CD, listen and then send a very strong letter back to them. What are my chances of getting anything back if the most damning phone call cannot be accessed? Also which letter should i send back once I have listened to the cd - do I just reiterate everything that I stated in my first letter. Thanks again to all you lovely people you are doing a fab job and keeping me sane!!!0 -

Do not give up here. You will get there if you persist with them. They will not give it to you without a fight but we are all rooting for you. Just write back and state you will continue with your original complaint and nothing has changed. Wait for their final response and then take this to the FOS or when 8 weeks are up since yu first complained.
