    Hi hun
I would contact the telephone number of the loan company who sent you the letter and ask them what they meant about them stating that Southampton had dealt with this, you need to tell them that it was actually arranged by so and so branch where you live, if that was the case, and not actually by Southampton, they do need to make it clear to you.

If they state that it was Southampton who arranged this, you do need to confirm that this was impossible as its a very long long way from you etc.

Was this arranged loan arranged in the actual branch or over the telephone by any chance ?

Then from there if they cannot help you any further and say they will not look in this again I would then move on to the FOS.

So give them a ring tomorrow hun and ask them what they meant about Southampton, you need to clarify how it was sold to you, I would personally though put it back in writing and tell them you would appreciate another written response to this within 7 days as its only a query, but at least you will have everything in writing in case this has to be moved on to the FOS.

Hope this helps hun, if not please just let us know.;)

    Ok thanks for that

The loan was aranged in a branch with a very long meeting with a very pushly sales man i still remember it.

Arh the usual mis selling then??? .

Hun you need to tell the FOS everything on your form and even tell them your sale had taken place at your local branch and not that of Southampton, yet if this is on that letter take a photocopy and enclose this and any other evidental proof you have to back your complaint.;)

Also just to say, post by recorded delivery.
    Good luck
    Di.

Hi Di. You have been on here mostly by yourself. Do your husband and son go sea fishing? My son loves fishing as well. Comes back with half his equipment but thoroughly enjoys himself. Went fishing on the pier last year caught bucket loads of mackeral (is that how you spell it) and then sold it all to people on the pier.
