This weeks challenge - to make sure the DW gets emptied as soon as it's done and refilled as we use it!One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I am still on week two of eating breakfast every day.I feel much better for this but time to move on to drinking at least a litre of water each day. I do love my tea and coffee but this will have to stop. I did slide in doing the ironing straight away and this I have kept to. Next week its time to start on the water also to get out of bed earlier instead of reading. I have allotment to tend now.;)0

Hello - can I join please?
My challenge to myself is to make my sandwiches for work the night before and put them in the fridge. This is a fairly straightforward challenge, I know, but I want to start with something that will be do-able. I already lay out my clothes the night before but this would really help in the mornings.

Failing miserably here, too.
My changes this week are:- Keep up with inbox and computer desk from the last two weeks
- Do a load of washing each night for this weeks change.
Haven't done any washing the past two nights - tear around in the morning waiting for it to finish, but it's never before I leave for work!
But - I will keep trying! If there is to be any peace, it will come through being, not having - Henry MillerM.A.C.A.W Member . . Wannabe Flybaby0 -
My challenge was to clear out a dusty and untidy space in the bedroom which had become a sort of dumping ground for unwanted items. It's in an alcove which is covered by a curtain so it was a case of 'out of sight...out of mind' but my mind wasn't playing ball!
So, today I bit the bullet, hopped out to John Lewis, bought a new piece of furniture to fit in the alcove (been umming and ahhing about this for ages) and then spent the early evening clearing out the dusty and untidy space! Filled a black bag with long treasured but long unused stuff and vacuumed up a huge amount of dust so the space is ready for the delivery men to fill next week. More work is still needed but the back is broken!
Was hard work and now I am rewarding myself with a large glass of wine. :T0 -
Oh dear..............failed miserably with the challenge..........
And let myself down with the first weeks as well now.
Paperwork hasn't been sorted on a daily basis, -that was week 1
Kitchen table is still a hot-spot -week 2
Oh lor........can't remember what my other challenges were - I know I set myself two
Next week I'll maybe just try one.............
Having cleared out my wardrobe so I can see what I've got - I must keep it that way.................:j (here's hoping!!)Mary

Don't worry Mary life gets in the way sometimes, you are doing so well on the de cluttering, that is something for me to tackle next week I think, only the task seems huge so maybe just 1 room a week.
I have managed last weeks which was to set up online banking, still have to tweak it though as the savings account needs sorting.
The first weeks challenge was to sort paperwork daily and as most of mine seems to be junkmail I just grab the bin (recyling paper sack) and go for it. Need to sort out a better filing system though. Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Didn't do quite so well this week I'm afraid.
I managed my 2 alcohol free days & I also knitted at least my 4 rows every night but I haven't been to the gym since last Saturday.
I've done something to my knee - I think I must have been a bit over enthusiastic!
It's still very painful so I'm having to rest it until it feels better. I'm really cross with myself because know that knee is weak - I have arthritis there & have suffered before when I've exercised too hard.
My challenge for next week is to plant some mixed salad leaves. I eat A LOT of salad & the nice leaves are so expensive I really must start to grow my own.0 -
Well, I'm glad I'm not alone in the failing miserably stakes! I have managed to grab a load of CDs to put up for sale (even if it was only 30 minutes ago). I'll get at least 2 added tonight.
Think I'll join Dobie in next weeks challenge (going to do my ones I got free with Gardeners World).M.A.C.A.W member 270
