Hi all.
I did my challenge last week - meal plan and it went really well. Changed a couple of days over but stuck to the meals I planned for the week. Done this weeks too so thats good.
Mail and inbox still up to date and sorted - v impressed.
This weeks challenge - Eat breakfast everyday AND start to 'gather' sorted stuff from around the house and garage and put in boxes ready for car boot. Anything that is too good for car boot(the stuff I won't get enough for) I will ebay so, seperate box. Also, I must get to charity shop this week as have 2 black sacks and 2 boxes for them.
Have a good week everyone and hope you all succeed.
I must also get back on flylady - I've been very tired and had a bit of a sore back so sitting at comp not good for that.Need to sort my life out! :T0 -
OK... I think I understand how this works...I'll participate.
Last week's change was to look at how much laundry I'm doing. I'm starting to hang things back up in the closet to wear again. Also, the kids clothes. If they're just at home, why not let them stay in the same grubby clothes for as long as possible? It's the time of year when I can chuck them out into the garden to play. So... there will be clothes for going out into public (school, church, shops) and clothes for staying home. When we come home from church, the grubby clothes go back on and they go back outside. Then, the church clothes can be worn again, as they're still clean! I can see that I'm doing less laundry. (And, the weather finally allows me to hang it outside. W00t!)
This week's challenge: to do a weekly meal plan and really stick to it. I have until Thursday (pay day) to do this. I'm going to be doing some reading and researching and pricing and planning. On Saturday, I hope to pre-cook and freeze a few things, but freezer space is somewhat limited, so we'll see.:beer:0 -
Reporting in for the day:
My changes this week are:- Keep up with inbox and computer desk from the last two weeks
- Do a load of washing each night for this weeks change.
Have just cleared desk so it's tidy.
Am about to put load of washing on and I'll hang it out in the morning

Oh dear - not even managing five minutes a day this week! Still , kitchen is still clear at bedtime so last week's little habit is sticking! (Thinks "I must do better, I must do better....")Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0 -
ok, so the challange for this week was to keep up with my spending diary, which is happening, so i want to add another challange,
i will each night do 30 minutes of house work which does not include cleaning (as i do this any way, it's the hoovering and ironing that i have problems with...)

Ok - ive failed this weeks challenge and its only wed - the great plan of action was to get my assignment for Open Uni done by Thurs - so far i have the header and page numbers in.
Got a genuine excuse - have neighbours from hell, there under an ASBO, which was issued in Jsn, sinced then they have breached the order over 300 times. Bad day today, spent 3 hours on the phone to the police, my head is frying, the books have got thrown across the floor. Luckly daughter was in bed, as I tell her off if she chucks anything.......
But gd news...... getting away for bank hol weekend, got a cheap deal, down to Devon, so me and dd will have a break,...... thou I forsee tears when we have to come back, shes only 5 but has a massive crush on one of the entertainers....(he bats the other direction)......... was I ever that bad!!xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Well my challenges have been quite successful, but not in the way I imagined. I've been that knackered (I'd forgotten how hard working for a living is) that I've been going to bed exhausted every night at 8:30 leaving the kitchen as a major disaster zone (Challenge #1). OH has taken pity on me and has loaded the dishwasher several times this week (he never does this). Hes also cooked dinner for the kids every evening and come to collect them from school on his way home from work so that they don't have to stay until I finish at 6:30.
He is a star! Obviously the smell from the slow cooker wasn't obvious enough that dinner was already done. Will leave a note next time!
House is vaguely clean, but thats more because we're barely here at the mo.
Challenge #2 - cashing in the the daily click accounts- I've been too tired to do this anyway but have cashed in where I can. £30 in vouchers has arrived so far. I have £9 to go with YouGov and 3000 ipoints to collect before I'm done. Probably another 3 months but I've cut down my PC time by around 2 hours a day.
Aaaagh. Only sat down for a quick coffee, now I'm going to be late! Enjoy the sunshine!Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
