    Hi All
I'm still in this week just not had time to post.
Week 1 - Inbox & Post - Not too bad, inbox a bit of a mess but hopefully sorting that tonight, post stuff being sorted daily.

Week 2 - Breakfast everyday - Still doing this, although sometimes take breakfast to work with me and have a bit later, not much though.

Week 3 - Wash and put away dishes EVERY NIGHT - Done so far.

Next week - I do most of my cleaning at the weekend so I will be doing 'something' every night. And also starting to knit again so must do a few rows at least. I know this is 2 things but the second one is for me so I'm sure it will be allowed.

Hope everyone is ok and enjoying the gorgeous weather.
Need to sort my life out! :T

    Xmas Saver!
Wow I managed a challenge - to chill out (nearly a week).

Thou if you ask my parents and daughter - they werent as chilled out, we had a week down in Devon, broke up the journey (more of a treat for dd), stayed at Travelodge for the 1st ngt, due to not being able to get a deal, begrudge paying full price for 2 rms, (usually parents and dog in 1, me _ dd in 2nd), thought 1 ngt we'd manage, me I slept like a log, (even though sharing bed with dd, shes only 5, but kept doing starfish in her sleep), no one else slept properly, apparently I snored all night!!

Had a gd week away, really chilled out, spent time with dd, even took my mother on a steam train trip (normally me and mum r like a red rag to a bull).

Next weeks challenge - got to get 2 x assisgnments done for OU, then back to sorting out next challenges x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

mum2one - glad you had a great break away.
Emptypurse - think of how much money you've saved this week!
taffy - you are going great guns. Especially with breakfast. They say it's the most important meal of the day!
The cat - how is the water drinking going?
Queenieviolet - have you had fun with your girls this week?
BrandNewDay & Slinky - how did you go this week?
natzini - is your desk now nice and orderly?
    Everyone else . . . update us . . .:o

    My previous weeks challenges:
    • Keep up with inbox and computer desk;
    • Do a load of washing each night.
    • Get kids and OH to help with one housework type job each evening
I'm going to stay with these this week and not add anything new. I have a very pressured week coming up and I really don't want to make myself crazy

2 alcohol free nights per week - done.
Go to the gym 3 times - I only went twice but that's OK because me & DH have also done 3 cycle rides of about 9 miles each & we're going out again today. I think that covers me on the exercise front!
Knit at least 4 rows every day - done (& thoroughly enjoying it too.
Sow some salad leaf seeds - I did this yesterday & also planted some coriander seeds. I love fresh coriander both raw in salads & in cooked dishes.
A little like Denise, I don't want to take on too much extra next week. I'm away with work a couple of nights & then next weekend we're away too, going to stay with my sister. That doesn't leave a lot of time.
I think my challenge for next week will be to do the best I can to keep up with the ones I already have.
The hotel I'm staying in for work has a pool so I'll try & substitute one gym visit with a half hour swim. If I also go to the gym Monday & Thursday that will do fine.
I have a couple of ideas for challenges once next weke is over.
Well done everyone who is keeping up with their challenges. :T If you haven't managed it keep trying, you'll get there.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Oh dear - I still am going to bed having tidied up the kitchen (challenge no. 1) but despite extending the next one - decluttering for just 5minutes every day - it just isn't happening. So, that one's on hold I think. This week it's going to be taking lunch into work every day and eating it, rather than giving in and buying something from the shop instead!
    Resolution:
    Think twice before spending anything!
  • Okay, as a newly returned to the fold mse-er, I think this is a fab concept, props to the person whodecided it ( I will find you in a minute and give you the thanks you deserve).

Right to the business of choosing my task for the week...hmmmm, actually, I know this is week one for me, but I think I'm gonna split my tasks into three section, Me, house and money.

ME TASK - Do at least 30mins wii fit three times a week and jogging three times a week.

HOUSE TASK - Keep kitchen surfaces clean AND clear, and maybe figure out why the grill smokes, do they have a max heat level? coz its fine til about 150c, should check the manuel

MONEY TASK - DON'T USE MY CREDIT CARD!!!!!!!

    so anyway, here goes.....
When life gives you lemons......Grab a bottle of tequila and call me over!

I'm away most of this week because of work but my challenge will be:
    • Don't put things down, put things away. Bin, drawer, cupboard, someone elses' in-tray, folder, file - things will be DEALT with on arrival.
    Keep your fingers crossed please???

    ;)

:D Time for an update again!

    Challenges so far:
    1. eat 3 meals a day - managing this most of the time
    2. clear out wardrobe - did it but prob not as ruthlessly as I should have!
    3. drink water - I'm converted:A I can honestly saythis has made me feel so much better so I'm going to really try not to let this one slip....Starting challenges is so much easier than sticking to them:rolleyes:

So, what to choose this week? Err........ blitzing sideway to house. It's become a real dumping ground!
