I really think we should have a vote. I think Haribo should have this as her new avatar. :D

Master Pink Happy Birthday. He is such a little sweety. :bdaycake:
CM Yeah whatever. *severely limit* :rotfl:
Rzl He looks like he could do with a good feed. That beef curry might just do the trick. ;)
Catz Some people do anything just to lay around in bed & knit all weekend. I expect you are off to the knitting thread to say you've done 100 squares. :p <hugs> :D
    HH Hope you sell them.

Well the storm happened. About 16,000 lost power over this side but luckily it wasn't us. Anyway off to have a shower. Byeeeeeeeee

    P.S. Don't forget to vote. :D

I have boxes of my dad's camera equipment to sort and sell but after that, the loft will be more or less clear

wmf, dont know if you know but some camera stuff can be worth a LOT of money, ( don't want you to be ripped off ), my OH can probably give you an idea of the price you should be asking if you want xx

    morning

Happy birthday to Master Pink and Master Kyle

hugs to everyone who is feeling under the weather

Love to smokey and the smokelets

well, busy morning so far. House is spick and span, WM on second load, DW emptied and I'm munching banana cake and a cuppa! Very OS weekend - although was pretty lazy, I did wash the windows, stretch a rubber chicken and do some knitting :D

My best friend is in PR and is currently free-lancing. When her sister spent some time in Africa with the Maassai tribe a plan was hatched for some of the warriers to run the London Marathon. My friend offered to run their PR for them as her donation to the cause - they have been on every tv and news programme and even made the front page of the guardian newspaper today. She has done so well and put so much time and effort in for the maassai, and I am soooo proud of her. I hope that you all saw a little bit of her efforts. They had been hoping to raise £60k to fund clean water for their village in Africa, and have now exceeded that target. :D

Well - I have a horrible exam tomorrow - runs from 9.30 - 4.30 with an hour break for lunch -I had better do some last minute cramming, so please boot me off if you see me on the boards :D

    Good morning everyone,

Havnt had chance to read the thread yet - but have spotted that its a HAPPY BIRTHDAY MASTER KYLE AND MASTER PINK xxx

:grouphug: and :hello: to everyone xxx

Well, ive managed to get all my clicks done, been for a coffee at a friends and been to the doctors for my blood test. My results last week were good - i think this week will be down a bit, but as long as its not a big drop, then i will still be happy.

Have a LO due at 12.30, and i think we will pop to Tesco - im in the process of writting a list and im hoping to stick to it.

Nothing much else planned - some good news from my friend, her husband might be coming home today - they think he has had a couple of mini strokes, and also some 'absent seizures' which we think are brought on by stress. They are doing a test to rule out epilepsy and then hopefully will send him home. Apparently in these cases a third of people will get better on their own, a third will get worse and a third will see no improvement - lets hope he gets the first one!!! The source of the stress is his daughter, who has behaviour problems, and hopefully thats where i can help, ive been having her after school and will be today as well, even though her dad is ill, it hasnt improved her, but we are working on it - hope the authorities will see how serious this is now and will do more to help, there is only so much we can do on our own.

OK, going to have my HM leek and potato soup for lunch - will be HM spag bol tonight!!!

    Have a lovely day everyone,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi all !

Oh well, the best laid plans etc...........
We were off to Focus do it all this morning to get some paint but our lad came home last night (was supposed to be away till Thursday)......few problems with things that meant I didn't really trust him enough to go on a 40mile round trip and leave him here............no telling who he'd let in the door while we were gone. So, we'll let him settle down a bit and go later in the week. Not the end of the world if my kitchen cupboards aren't painted yet.
So, spent the morning sorting through some of those cardboard paper files I;d got.......managed to condense what I from four files to three.........the fourth one can go back to the charity shop it came from...........all the others are in matching colours so I want to keep them anyway.
Just need to tackle miniature chest of drawers that stands on the cuboard then that corner will be sorted and it'll be on to the next one :T

Have a great day and hugs ((((((((((((:o ))))))))) to all who need them
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

    Hi Ruby,

To make short links when you reply highlight the text you want to 'hide' the link in. Go to the top of the reply box and click on the globe icon. That will bring up another box. Copy and paste the link url into that.

For a clearer explanation have a look here
