Good morning all!
Well the start of another busy week, and I aim to severely limit myself on here, so I can get *stuff* done:D I want to thoroughly tidy and declutter the house. The problem is every time I start to clear anywhere, I find myself down memory lane with *do you remember.........*:o And then I think I need to keep the rubbish, I know, I'm hopeless:rotfl:

Morning all
Happy Brithday to Masters Kyle and Pink - hope you have a lovely day.
Haribo - are you going to change you're avatar now you're a brunette?
dd(11) and I have made our peace and she has promised to help in the garden today - we are just waiting for the sun to reach the bits we have to do. she has two little raised beds that she wants to sow. Last year she chucked a mixed lot of wild flowers in - they were lovely but when I dug the bed out earlier this year it was full of teeny carrotsShe also spent the summer nurturing an enormous marrow and then wouldn't eat it as she hates marrow - this year she is going to grow some stuff she likes.
The house is an absolute tip so will do some flying while the sun moves round - have a good day everyoneI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -

Morning all,
Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Master Pink. I can't believe that my 'baby' is now eight! He had a good morning, got all the pressies he wanted and more and has now been packed off to school with a tummy full of birthday pancakes.
Plans for today are to clean the house so that it will pass Haribo's inspection later  bake a birthday cake and maybe get out into the garden for a potter....it's a gorgeous day here and quite warm too. Then I have work this evening unfortunately. Thankfully the birthday boy has requested an Indian takeaway for tea, so I don't have to think about that.
Smoky, still thinking of you and the children. xx
chocolate.orange and charliesmum, I hope you both feel better soon.
stefiejb, I'm glad things have settled with your dd.
Pipkin, good luck with LEA report.
Haribo, Can't wait to see [STRIKE]your hair[/STRIKE] you...have a safe journey and try not to cause too much havoc at the airport.Don't forget the loaf tin.
Happy birthday to Master Kyle :bdaycake:
I hope everyone has a good day.

:hello: Hello!
Happy Birthday_party_ _party_ _party_ to little master Kyle and master Pink :bdaycake:
Trying to get back to normal (whatever that is;)) after a weekend of bedrest:o I was over ambitious last week and had a little cfs relapse after Fridays course, still glad I did it as the first aid course was very good and the lunch was superb though apparently not typical of daily school lunches, I had cous cous with a lovely spicy veg stew, yummy salad, glass of fresh orange juice and lovely fresh fruit for afters. there were some lovely looking fruit tarts as well.
I am not going to feel too down about the relapse though as I know why it happened and what to do to feel better just frustrating that I can't do all the things that need doing, I did do some knitting though yesterday so not a total waste of time. Mr Catz :A also caught up on the washing and ironing bless him!
I found something very special on my bookcase that I hadn't had time to properly look at before, a little book of my Mums that she used to write up her hk budgets and shopping lists and recipes from just after the war to 1982, also a list of setting up home (bottom drawer) requirements, mostly utility as just after the war, and tucked inside was a love poem to her from my Dad!
(((hugs))) to Smoky, PP, Hilstep, jayward, ivyleaf and anyone else who could use one.
Well must try to at least get penny around the block! Then I have a fruit bran cake to finish - fruit, bran and sugar are soaking in the milk so i just need to add the flour and spices and bake.
have a lovely day
Catz xOur days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Just popped back to wish Master Kyle & Master Pink Happy Birthday.
I've put all the books on Amazon, let's just hope they sell, I kept back 2 for me & 3 for Hubby, I'll sell those after we've read them. Off to the bank now to pay hubby's wages in & I'll do more squares when I get home.
