    Morning folks,

Kyle - Hippo birdie to your DS, sorry your MIL is not coming to wish him a good day

Havent read yesterdays thread yet so not sure what is going on. Weather looks nice today so I will stick a load on the line. Have lots of Ebay parcels to post.

Picked up some wardrobes off Freecycle yesterday, so we will be able to hang our clothes up at long last! I might post them on Shabby Chic, to see iof the guys over there have any ideas on what I can do to them (in the spirit of re-using and all that:) )

Right, will pop in the shower then

    Have a good one

Morning all  (definitely morning today - I checked and everything!) Hugs to those that need them and lemsips to all those feeling a bit peaky.

The concert last night was hilarious. Aside from the fact we were old enought to have given birth to most of the (very small) audience (whos parental chaperones were hiding in the toilets for most of the gig) Alphabeat were actually pretty good live performers. The first support act was shocking (think really untalented school band) but the second could have headlined easily. The male lead we suspect had had a little to much to drink, was stressed because he'd lost one of his maracas and kept saying that he had to remember to ask the audience how they were every now and again because that was a cute British thing they don't ever do in Denmark, but to bear with him because he was still learning (bless) .... :rotfl:

PenPen - it's always nice to have a musician to stare at :D Years ago I took a friend of mine to see a performance of the Pearl Fishers in Holland park - and she decided to announce in what she *thought* was the start of the interval - but was actually just a pause, that she didn't understand why the female lead was interested in either of the two male options as she should have just run off with the conductor. Oh the shame... :rotfl:

Our other house-guest turned up last night - they all went to the cinema, so were later back than I was from the gig (school night I guess...). I don't know what they have planned for the day, I'm going to be here until at least 7 anyway. I still feel a bit rough thanks to OH's fanatastic virus he brought back from Canada, but it's not too bad.

Have a good day all, cel x

    Good Morning All

(((hugs))) to Pen-Pin DH & Annie
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Master Kyle, hope he has a lovely day!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Master Pink too

I presume mum has arrived in Florida safe & sound, Ive heard nothing!
Finally caught up with all the washing.
Lovely roast pork dinner y-day, and there is enough left over for dinner again today! Made some carrot y-day & chocolate brownies too.

Brought the dog a lovely big cushion dog bed from Next Clearance, £9 from £40. She's not left it all wk end!

My exoh dropped the kids off last night 1/2hr late, and then there was 4 people squashed in the back seat of his car, which meant DS didn't have his seat belt on! So not a happy bunny regards to that.

Kids have another week at the local leisure centre of School's out activities.

    Right best be off
    Take care
    Love Emma xxx

If that was in about 2002, I saw that, and I am not at all surprised given that the conductor was the extremely gorgeous Brad Cohen (for best results, click on my link and then select the "Photographs" link at the bottom ;):D:D) whose back view (always the most important thing about a conductor's visual credentials!) is as good as the front view... He conducts quite a lot for Holland Park.

(Edited to say: and if you fancy another look, he's conducting Il Trovatore at Holland Park this June ;) Tickets start at £10 and the cheap ones are perfectly good and will sell out quite soon. www.operahollandpark.com)

(Rzl skulks off and stops talking about stuff that has nothing to do with OS :o)

pipkin71 My very many sympathies on having to do yhe LEA report - I HATE doing them, our LEA haven't contacted us for over 18 months so I am expecting to have to do one again any time soon :(

    Thanks oldMcDonald.

This is actually our first report since deregistering. I've had a look at the examples on the eo site, and I'm hoping they will accept mine without any hassle. Our LEA inspector is anti HE though, so I dont know if it will be enough.
