Right, Tesco done, will update my sig from the savings shortly - though it was a v. small shop as there wasn't much on offer and my freezer is bursting at the seams so the savings will be v. small. But, every little helps as they say :rotfl:
And the weather has perked up beautifully - sun is shining and really warm plus a bit of a breeze so I shall at least get the gloss paint done in the kitchen.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning all
Sorry you're still hanging around Johanne.
My rant - OH is home this weekend so you'd think I could have a lie in at least one of the days. Oh no, I've been up both! This am Star was crying from 6.30 so I had to get up to let her out. I had been awake since 4.30 anyway as there's so much c**p in my head at the moment.
Anyway, came down,. put TD and WM on, emptied DW and started cleaning oven. Left the stuff to work and decided to check the calendar. He's only put down that he's away for the next 8 weekends with ACF! And yes, that does include the Bank Holidays. Well, I went for him when he did get up. He said a few weeks ago that he would get on with some decorating, but hasn't been home since. I told him he could go alternate weeks at the most, and I felt I was being generous with that. Then I went and vented my spleen on stripping more wallpaper! Men!!!

My sister bought the brother to my 2 baby bunnies, I got a text from her this morning saying he had died in the night and when she phoned the shop they said the whole litter had weak hearts! (there were about 12 in the litter.. it was huge!!).. SO.. what do I do about my 2.. there is no way I could take them back, we've had them 2 months and they are very very much loved and part of the family. Do I still take them to be neutered? The vet said they sounded ok, I took them for an initial check over when I took them for they vax the day after I bought them.. I will be speaking to the vet about it tomorrow but I need some sense talking into me now.. I am most upset at the prospect they may be unwell and die much much sooner than we can cope with! They do live indoors as I think it is terrible keeping bunnies out i the cold.. especially baby bunnies at this time of year.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Awww, Pigpen, how sad! You're right to speak to the vet tomorrow. It's possible it's a genetic thing in which case it would be best to get them neutered - but only if the vet reckons they are fit enough to go under the knife. On the other hand, genetics are peculiar things and your two might just be absolutely fine. But then it would still be best to get them neutered so they don't pass on the defect.

Pigpen hugs - talk to the vet, one of our kittens died after being spayed - turned out she had a genetic kidney/liver problem but all the others in the litter were fine xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hugs to you Pigpen. I would trust your vets' judgement on this one and just hope they are OK. But I would have strong words at the Pet Shop for not letting you know, even if they didn't realise when they sold them. 12 is a very big litter of kittens, so they would have been a big drain on the doe's resources. They are only tiny little dwarf lops as well and were very very tiny when I bought them which I put down to their litter size.. they were also taken from their mum way too early according to the girl in the shop.. one of ours has deformed ears.. they are both on the same side of his head just about.. it is very endearing but did make me wonder if all was ok. I will be speaking to the vet.. she thinks we are a bit mad because we are obviously very careful looking after our pets (my mother, my 2 sisters and me all use the same vet) I wonder if that is why Humbug isn't growing very much.. he is really tiny compared to the other one.. and already has been very ill.. Anyway, I'm not worrying about something I can do nothing about.. what will be will be! We will just love them to bits while we have them.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
