My bill is wrong for the fourth month!!! Please check your bills and complain!

I've just checked my latest bill and found Primus overcharged me by .92p. It's not a lot of money
but it could still buy me a bottle (or two) of milk!

Primus keep sending me bills for £0.00 even though I left them back in January. I have contacted them numerous times but I still keep getting sent bills  !

So long as they don't add a few more 0's.

Oh hang on that should be 1's :)

    Same here.

Yet another phone call, the guy on the other end asked how i knew that i was overcharged, lets just say my reply wasn't too polite!

When you have a package that costs £29.99 a month, and Primus is charging £36.47, then it is a big difference when you are living on a budget, 1st time of overcharging i can accept, but after promising each time to have it corrected the following month, to find they haven't is now becoming a joke.

After each phone call, Primus do take the correct money from the bank, but thats not the point.

Sam Knows says o2 is coming to my exchange at the end of October, so once this Primus deal is over come February then i have had enough of Primus, and it is hello o2.

I wonder if there is any clause in the T&C that let you out for this billing errors, plus the 3 days without broadband, and lack of email for nearly 2 weeks.
  • According to who i spoke to on Friday, the next billing dates (for myself anyway) are 7th July and 26th July, which looking at these dates, Primus will be collecting a payment from the bank on the 2nd July, and around the 21st July.

Again, if you are on a budget, where do they think i'm supposed to find an extra £30 from, if my outgoings match my incomings, without my Phone/ISP trying to charge twice in the month, because of their errors, at the beginning of the year, best bit was, the bill that they originally issued, before taking the bills offline due to "billing errors", mine was actually correct!

Again, what annoys me, is that i have been told this, in a phone call that i made to Primus, because of overcharging, but where is the email or letter, explaining that they will be charging every 3 weeks, which will occur with a month with 2 bills, to catch up with the "missing" month, it is maybe ok, for the users of the evening/weekend call package, where their bills are next to nothing, but for users, like myself on £24 to £30 a month packages, it is a lot of money to find twice in the month, knowing that this is going to happen is bad enough, but a lot worse when the bill comes out the blue, virtually days after they have just snatched money from your bank account.

Hopefully with the date of the 26th mentioned after that, and the billing back in line, then Primus will settle down, and get back to regular, similar billing dates, that they used to have.
The dates i gave above, ended up not happening, but it would seem that Primus don't have a clue when they will bill, the next bill issue date i was given today was the 15th August, but then i was told, it could be before that, or after that, so it would seem that the billing won't be back into line properly just yet then.

Doesn't fill you with much confidence.
  • Their reply this month...
i have refunded the call charge to your account and i have sent an email to our billing department to request an explanation for this error .I did send this also last month but i have copied in higher management to this email so that i will receive a response from the billing department.
