Have never had a problem with Primus in two years till last month, I have also had the same problem again this month, plus they credited and corrected the incorrect amount they charged last month and have then added it back on this months bill.
I've been on Primus Saver Option 2 for over 2 years too - and never had a problem with billing. In fact, my Orchid program normally routing only free calls and the occasional (Penny Mobile 2) 20p call to a mobile via Primus means a £20 referral credit I received some time ago is still £11.35 intact!

Their billing is still way behind though - I received my bill for calls up to 14 March today!
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

I have always been happy with them up until now, in fact have recommended them to several people.

Have you had any anomaly's with your billing this last couple of months?

I have been charged again for weekend and evening calls over 60 minutes but less than 90, the teething problems with new computer excuse would seem to be just that, an excuse, especially as they knew about it last month but incorrect billing is being sent to some customers again this month.

Same here our bill takes us up to 14 March too. I suspect then this billing error is an issue for newer customers - we joined at the start of this February. In any case, BT have cancelled the CPS as there's little advantage in having primus over BT for evening and weekend calls as you said anyway (the extra 30 minutes per free call we can get by without).

No, no spurious charges (I do check) although that may be because we never exceed 60 minutes on calls. In fact, my Orchid is programmed to send weekend UK 01/02/03 calls via BT now - so those calls can 'qualify' us for free Caller Display.

Well I have been with them for two years now and they are getting mine wrong.

If I could get the OH to talk to our various relations, offspring and grandchildren for less than sixty minutes at a time the extra thirty minutes would not be a problem either, trouble is once she is on it time stands still for her.:D

I'm sure you'll put me right, if I've missed something :D , but, as I have seen a few posts about incorrect billing with Primus lately, would it be a good idea for an Orchid dialer, with the Heinz plan, to put all weekend calls via BT, to get free Caller Display?

It's on my 'to do' (well, 'to ask' really) list for the Heinz program. It'll be a question of asking opinions from users because the majority may prefer 90 minute weekend calls to 60 minute ones.

I'm getting charge 0.13 every time I call a mobile when the other person does not even answer, is this right that I am being charge for just attempting to call a mobile.

Has anyone had any problems contacting Primus today? I was on the phone and someone was talking to me and it got cut off. Subsequent calls to their 0800 number has results in the "number unobtainable" tone :(
