Thanks Emily and magic for your support, some people are sooooo stupid and jealous arent they!pathetic.0

I don't think there is any need for that. People here gave you their opinions in a (largely) polite way. I don't think anyone here is jealous, stupid or pathetic.0

Well fwiw, I think the most offensive posts on this thread are the ones suggesting only parents who care would find jobs for their children!
And as for suggesting it is a sign of closeness... :rotfl: Or did you mean close as in permanently attached to your apron strings?
You've been given sound advice and your dd does have the time to ring herself (every employer will know that!) - you could even give her the number if you like, but don't do it for her! You should even know what times of the day she is free of classes, given you are so close, so you could ring/text and make sure she has done it if you like? But let her actually phone herself - that will not make you less supportive!0 -
Boring zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz jealousy is a sad sad thing!0

People on here have given you sensible, honest and frank advice, which you choose to discount because it does not suit you. No more, no less.0

No one likes to be told they are wrong, I have learnt this one valuable lesson from this forum."I'm not from around here, I have my own customs"
For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!0
