Tuna mayo with cheese
Pepperoni and peppers with cheese (dip in pasta sauce)
Pastrami and peppers with cheese
Spinach and feta
Turkey, cranberry and brie
Chicken, pesto and mozerella
Pesto, artichokes, sun dried tomatoes and cheese
Peanut butter and jam
bananas and peanut butter with golden syrup

I always find savoury and sweet go well together.
Dont forget mayo but you dont need butter or spread - i tend to find that makes them soggy and calorific:eek:I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Baked beans and cheese
Chocolate spread and banana ( carefull the banana gets very hot)
Ham and egg ( for this one you need to be quick so crack and egg into a cup get the bread ready and put one slice on the toastie maker with a slice of ham pour on the egg and top with the other slice close the lid quickly or the egg with run out best made with as fresh as poss eggs so that the white stays smaller if you know what I mean.)1 Sealed Pot Challenge # 1480

For me, it's chicken, bacon, spinach & mayo or cheese, tomato & chives. A friend like ham & pineapple - urgh!
I know some of the recipe books say to butter the outside of the bread to make it extra crispy but i use a light spritz of spray oil.0 -
Tinned new potatoes (sliced), cheese and baked beans were the faves when I was a student.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0
