Thank you elliswolfe and carriebradshaw for retrieving and posting on this thread - hadn't seen it for absolutely ages.
Just read it from the beginning and spotted one where somebody (Kingarhu - Aug 2005) suggested mincemeat (Chrismassy mincemeat!) - given a slight turn after a couple of minutes (to produce quarters) and then sprinkled with a dusting of icing sugar when ready - now those I DO like the sound of :drool:. Could even do icing sugar/cinnamon sifted together mmmmmmmmmm.0 -
My favourites are cheese with sliced mushrooms. And cheese and onion, yum.Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!

Tuna cheese and red onion... yummy!! I dont have a toastie machine and hate the grill mess so I microwave my cheese, toast bread as normal and build it all up that way!!!
Leftover meatballs and cheese is a good one
And left over roast chicken, lettuce and mayo (bit like a mc chicken sandwich) or chicken, stuffing and cranberry sauce.. YUM

My fav has to be ham and pickle, daughters is banana and cheese and middle sons absolute fav is chicken tikka.He has been known to make a sunday roast toastie with everything except the gravy cut up and put in and a small pot of the gravy for dipping it in.Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0
