or if you staple the corners together you can put it in the toaster... or the George Formby if you have one of them..

you b*ggers - I have just been to the pub and now I want a toastie, but my toastie thing died and I cant be arsed (or trusted) with a grill or frying pan. better go to bed I think.

No stapler. Nor sellotape.
Toaster would only take 1 piece at a time anyway (it's small) so I'd have to do each half and the filling separately... which might not be the best of plans.

My lot love apple sandwiches toasted or untoasted.Thickly slice a nice sweet apple,sprinkle with a touch of caster sugar and cook.A nice cheap snack but do watch the filling a it gets really hot !!!

Can anyone give me a list of appealing recipes for toasted sandwiches. Just thrown out breville maker and got some toastie bags and am looking for something other than cheese and cheese with onion. Any recipes welcome. thanks.,

I'm a bit boring I'm afraid, cheese, onion, tomato and lots of mustard is my favourite although bacon and brie is good too.

u have gotta try mixed fruit jam and banana toastie, especially if u have a sweet tooth its deffo the toastie to try. yum!
