Logging in on their website, my account is still showing my order, as disbatched.

So, im not sure now if my order has really been "disbatched" or not, but im assuming it hasnt.

Well, just had a knock on the door and its an amazon delivery. indiana & monty box sets, with invoice in for the cheaper prices, so it looks like my order went through!

Cant believe my luck as normally i miss out on these sort of deals! ACE!!!!

Not sure, but it was 25th at around 4.30 i think.

well done you! i ordered around 4pm, but opted for free delivery, which the amazon email said would be later in September so looks like I get nothing :-(

my order arrived yesterday - one indy and 3 monty. this was a super saver offer and it got through. my initial order which was for just one indy for which I paid a first class delivery charge for did not arrive. called customer services and discovered it has been cancelled.

am gutted cos the indy that arrived was an order placed for a friend. my own copy is the one that got stopped.

Nope, i added a few extra full price dvd`s to bring it up to the super saver free delivery option. It said estimated delivery date was going to be the first week in september, so i was pretty supprised it turned up so quickly.

I hadn't signed up as a member of MSE when this post was originally created and had already put an order in for a couple of box sets (luck rather than judgement). The order was acknowledged and then subsequently cancelled.

I was not of the impression that I was getting one over Amazon merely they were selling off old stock or similar - the box sets were not exactly new realeases. Just another good deal from Amazon.

When I got my cancellation, I replied to them registering my thoughts on the matter and received a standard apology. End of story I thought, I then joined MSE and found this forum and saw that others had had some of the boxsets delivered so I decided to write again and low and behold a £3 gift voucher.

I'm not going to push it any further but thought I would share my experience.

I sent em am email saying how could trust Amazon.co.uk prices?. Even though Amazon.co.uk often show up as amongt the cheapest on pricerunner.co.uk etc. - In future I would have to think twice, as due to recent experiences, Amazon's prices are not all they seem to be.

I just got the standard knockback email and no voucher.

Jus noticed my order is still in my account - Guess it'll take a few more days before it gets removed.

I've just had a PM from someone who is under the misapprehension that this thread is locked. It isn't!

The [CLOSED] in the title is there to denote that the offer itself is over. However you can still post to the thread.

For future reference, when a thread is locked it has a padlock symbol in the left side of the thread listings and you will also be unable to post any replies to that thread.
