Welcome back Ruby, the rules are that you are still officially on holiday, therefore you can send for a takeaway. Well, that's the rule in this house anyway ;)

    Hi Everyone!!

Sorry I'm late but I've been fence-treatmenting and wall painting at my sisters house last 2 days!! just got the white wall painted and it poured down and hail-stones!!:o  so a second coat needed at some point!:rotfl:
Also set up her new freeview box (trying to bring her into the 21st century!), and a new microwave. I've still got to work out the strimmer I got for her, but that's another day!

AFter the fiasco of trying to book swimming lessons the other day, I finally heard from the L.Center today - got the kids booked in, but not on their usual day(Tues), all booked - so now have got Thursdays instead. Oh well, better on a swim course than none at all!

Got back to find my Race for Life pack, and just set up my sponsorship page:D Don't know what's harder ....doing the race or setting up the webpage!!:rotfl: and my T-Shirt I ordered is abit on the....snug side!:o :rotfl: shows off my "dumplings" abit...IYKWIM!!;) :rotfl:

So no OS baking for me today, although that Lemon Drizzle sounds tempting you're all talking about!

Welcome to all the new posters and to some old familiar faces!

bargainrzl - thanks for the tap classes info, but I don't think I could get there of an evening by the time I've got the kids to bed :o Hope you will be posting your ballet photo's;) :D

Good Luck to anyone who is running in the London Marathon on Sunday:T

Ok so I made some of twinks hobnobs and they worked and are very yummy. I think I must have used the wrong sized loaf tim for the lemon drizzle cake or something. Hrmmmm

You cant go wrong with Twink's hobnobs - well actually thinking about it yes you can. But only if you are daft like me. I used Ready Brek instead of oats once - crumbs anyone???

Never made that mistake again :D

    Hi everyone :hello:

Glad you got the lessons sorted out Shez and well done on doing the Race for Life.
Welcome back from your hols Ruby, Stefe and Charlie's mum.
Hope your weekend isn't as bad as predicted celyn.

I've been a good old styler today. :D I'm taking the girls to Ireland next week so I wanted to use up stuff in the fridge and veg rack and batch cook for OH as he's working very hard atm. So I made....veg soup, brocolli and stilton soup, celery soup, mushroom soup and lentil soup *pause for breath*, and lamb curry, cornish pasty mix, chilli con carne and lamb casserole.

I can hardly move my arms now and am pooped. :o

Had a meeting with the printers this morning to organise our marketing material so I'm glad that's all organised.

The girls have been better today though they've developed the irritating habit of talking to eachother like dolphins. I borrowed one of their MP3 players earlier to try and drown them out. ;)

Tea will be "soup of your choice" :D and hot dogs

    Have a good evening everyone.

Jus thought I would pop in again today. As yesterday on my first post it has been another frenetic day. Went to fiance's house and continued clearing. Demolished a kitchen. Lifted carpets. Skip arrived 11 am byt 1 pm it was full . Another skip being delivered tomorrow. Will probably be full again by end of day. More stuff collected by freecylcers and someone due to ring soon. Hope they dan take more things.

Then after filling skip , qucik flit up the motorway to home, lunch, clean and change and then took best mate and her hubbie to Canterbury hospital for her radiotherapy. The last session, so now it is the wait to see if it has made a difference. She has been battling cancer for 4 and a half years.

Came home and fell asleep! Exhausted. Planned a simple dinner the kids can cook - baked potatoes, ham and salad. My co op does huge packages of ham bits which and just over £3 and last about 4 meals. Will chop up into a pasta sauce with pasta and chees tomorrow for them (I can't eat wheat so alternative for me). The next day not sure yet. Any good ideas welcome!

Plan to sit down and slob in front of tv tonight. Hopefully next week will be less hectic.

    Hello everyone :hello:

ancasta :hello: :hello: :hello: :j :j :j Good to "see" you around!

:hello: :hello: :hello: to everyone else.

It's been a shock to the system being at school for 3 days. :p What with having to get up at 6am AND organise myself, it's been pretty full on! :D At least I know that it's not for much longer. ;)

I got home tonight to find that DH had arrived home early from work and was cracking on with the ironing. We now have large piles of either unironed, still to do, clothing and ironed. He's just popping out to get some fish & chips for supper.

We're popping to the EDF Energy Final tomorrow at Twickenham. :j :j If my "boys" win then I stand to make a profit of £7.50. If they don't, then my case for making me their coach will be accelerated. :rotfl:

Right, I'd better crack on and iron something whilst DH is out "hunting and gathering", as he calls it. :rotfl:
