OS Daily Fri 11th April

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 11 april. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Morning
up early as at about 4.30 lo woke up screaming, he had somehow put his pillows on floor and had banged his head on the wooden part of his bed, going to be a bruise there i think, poor man
ds1 and ds2 were at cinema yesterday and had a great time then they went to macdonalds for tea
my hair is now really dark after colouring it yesterday, what possessed me i dont know:rotfl: will take some getting used to.
today need to clean kitchen and have to get a new hoover as my one keeps having parts broken! still under guaruntee so hope i can get a new one.

Morning all.
I have not posted on the tread before. Very early for me, but with two lo's I,m finding it difficult to get everything done. Tell me it gets easier.:o How you cope that have more than two. Getting the ironing done this morning before the kids wake. What a cunning plan heh. Well back to it. Hope everyone has a good day and Hugs to those that need them.

Dentist this morningI went last week to have one side injected and scaled and polished, and having the other side done today. As a consolation prize, we are having a Chinese delivered tonight - just hope my mouth has come back to life so I can eat it
Need to go into Asda, and then some decluttering and sorting this afternoon.
(( hugs )) to Smokey, and anyone else needing one xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning all - special Good Morning to rose_tinted and her first post
Thank you for all the 'Happy Birthdays' to DS, he was really surprised and pleased to see people on a forum wish him a happy birthday.
Not really got a lot planned for today. I have a load in the washing machine already, but it is raining at the moment, so shall put the radio on in a mo to see what the weather is supposed to be doing today, otherwise I will have to resort to putting it over an airer, something I would rather avoid as DS4 pulls it around the room and uses it as a ladder! I spend most of the day putting the clothes back on it!
I was planning to go to Gunwarf Quays in Portsmouth this afternoon, but it doesn't look like we will be able to go which is a shame as I had promised the kids we would visit the Thorntons and Cadburys clearance shops (and Whittards clearance for me!!). I phoned them up to check about parking (we have a mini bus and also need a disabled bay for DS7) as we cannot get into the multi-story as our bus wont fit. They said they don't have any where else for us to parkI said that DS school often take their mini-bus over to visit them and where did they park, I was told they can use the bus and coach park but we can't as ours is private. I am really cross as we have no option other than a mini bus as we have to transport OH, me, DS in his wheelchair plus the other 4 kids, so it looks like I am going to have to write a letter and make a fuss - how silly that an identical school bus can use a bus park when we can't, even with a Blue Badge, as ours is private:(
Rant over
Have a good day all and hugs to those that need them0 -

Morning all and welcome to all the newbies. KYLE - I hope little one's not too sore!
(((Hugs))) to Smoky and the LOs; thinking of you all.
Martyn - hope today is a good day for you.
CHURCHMOUSE - :hello: :hello: :hello:
Have loads to do today; payroll for DH's business - difficult when his customers don't pay on time! I also want to get my food shopping done but shall do that once I've changed the sheets and got the house dusted and hoovered. Dinner tonight is left over Shepherd's Pie and whatever veg I feel like prepping! I shall have to see what's lurking in the veg basket!
The sun is shining away at the moment so I hope it lasts and that everyone is enjoying the same.
Well, I'd better get a move on or I'll never get everything done.
See you all later.

Welcome rose & pretz.
Hugs to Smokey.
Whatatwit, if Martyn pierces himself, I'm sure I can think of a name for it.
Katy is haunting me even though she's gone away for a few days, her mobile isn't working, so she's emailed me to let me know that if she does apply for any jobs she's given my home number, so can I take messages!
Plans for today include going to a local coffee morning in aid of Macmillan.
Going to B&Q to get a few bits.
Making cottage pie & spag bol out of some reduced mince.
I hope everyone has a good day.
Hugs Hester

Morning All
Off to Spain this evening for the weekend:j Never know I may come back with a new job;) Flying home late Sunday night, so got Monday off work.
Means I'll miss out on a couple days of daily clicks, but a small sacrifice!!!
I've changed up my Euros and all packed ready to go. It's very exciting as I've not been there before. Must remember to take my Spanish book on the plane to brush up on the lingo - been eight years since I studied it!
Treated myself to sushi for dinner last night, but hopefully tomorrow night it'll be paella!
Anyway, loads of work to do so better dash
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
