TBH, I am starting to wonder if I was given the right info. I have just looked at their website and below is what they have to say about the services they offer. I thought I would phone today in the hope that I could doublecheck it was right as it seems odd that they offer carry your shopping to your car service/ escort to your car service and yet don't have parking for blue badged buses. Hopefully I will speak to a different person to the one I spoke to the other day! At the moment I can't speak to anyone as they are not answering their phone!

Havnt been around much the last few days, ive been trying to read, but have missed loads so hope everyone is ok.

Nothing much happening here, im just really tierd, not sleeping well at all at the moment and its catching up on me. Have been about, but busy with the LOs and trying to keep up with other things!! Dont have many LOs to look after so low on money, but i always seem to have one here, so keeps me busy - could do with another one tho!!!

Today, i need to get the BM on with some pizza dough for dinner tonight, and im going to give the bathroom and toilets a good going over - also want to do the kitchen floor.

Think i read somewhere someone asking about Mumzy2 - think she is on holiday and could be back this weekend!!!

Been for a run, spoke to the hens and collected loads of eggs, and washing on the line (though not sure for how long ).

Baking later (2 quiches, 2 cakes, some biscuits and a chocolate crumble cake).

DH has e-mailed me to say that his flight from Beijing is delayed, so he'll miss his connection to the UK I may need to collect him at 10pm :eek:

The weather's behaving strangely this morning It was fine when I left the flat, but within minutes there was a shower of something so light I couldn't even tell whether it was rain or sleet Now it's clouded over, with sunbeams breaking through in odd places. I hope the weekend weather is OK - I have two colleagues running the London Marathon on Sunday...

Am going to have a click through some online surveys this evening. These past few months I've really got out of the habit of doing them, and I need to earn a few more vouchers thanks to the fact that a thread over on the Health & Beauty board is tempting me into developing some rather expensive skincare and cosmetics habits :eek: I don't think "being high-maintenance" is something worth cutting back the other good things in life for - so will need to be resourceful

Need to pop to Mr T's this evening as am out of butter and want to do some baking this weekend.

Not got much to say this morning but oldMcDonald, I wish you luck sorting out the parking thing with the council.

Edited to say - catowen, thanks for news on Mumzyof2 - I was just thinking I hadn't sen her for a while, and what with everybody trying so hard the other week to make her feel included, I was a bit worried that she'd run away again

flew in and out already this morning as DD needed the puter to print some coursework off she needs for school today. dry and sunny here with a bit of breeze so i've hung washing out but sky looks manky so must remember to bring it in before work.

got tons to do today,
wm is on second load, last night washing up needs putting away:o
got to blitz the kitchen and bathroom
a load of drying to sort and the non iron stuff to put away at some point i should also do some ironing, i dont like the iron im using at the mo its too little and light so need to budget a new one in soon.
made 2 weetabix cakes last night one for the tin one for the freezer.
want to do some hobnobs but will leave that till ds is back from school night so he can help.
better grab a coffee and make a start

Morning,

The weather is strange here as well, woke up to a beautiful day so jumped out of bed - by the time my feet hit the floor it was black and chucking it down .

I hope it perks up as OH has finally given me permission to use our new electric rotavator (he is under the impression I am likely to injure myself with it ). That said though, he has only just lent me his hammer so that I can hang pictures
Failing that I suppose I will plant some seeds up - might have to pop to Trago to get some seed trays. I think the hanging basket seedlings I replanted the other day aren't going to make it

not agood start to day OH called me a silly c*w in front of the children :mad: !!!!

I was very restrained and waited until he had come back from taking the LED to school and gave him a right ear full i can tell you (money in swear box me thinks;) ) i told him to stop being a 'kevin!' for god sake he's 45yrs old :mad:

on top of that DSW was upset 'cos dh wouldn't let him practise his recorder and they've got a competion at school :mad:

and on top of that we have no bread:mad: Oh used it all when he got in from work and didn't tell me, so i've had to change from tuna sarni9e to tuna salad for work:D

Stew for tea its been in SC since 8am

Morning all !

Lovely day and just thinking everything was ticking along nicely now the builders been and OH's got over losing his workshop, a spanner flies into the works.
The boy we care for (nearly 18 now) went off to stay with relatives for a funeral (he said) and I had no reason to doubt him. So there's me thinking he's several miles away and get phone call last night from his brother.........seems yesterday he was only 20 miles away and wanting to stay at his brothers with girlfriend. Brother phones me to see if he's here -I said no he was with uncle.............brother says not. He'd wanted to stay with his brother and wanted girlfriend to stay too. Brother says definite 'no' as he doesn't really know this particular girl. I do.............bit of a history there and not a good one. So - where is he ??? Who knows...............can't get him on his phone. He'd also told his brother we were away for a few days...........another bit of embroidery on the truth putting it nicely.
I'll try him later and so will his brother..............he's bound to answer sooner or later. He's spun his brother such a tale like you would not believe all of which his brother and I know just cannot be true. What on earth is going through his head ? Oh well, not much I can do...........he's old enough to make his own decisions but why oh why the endless lies ??
Still, I know he's able to take care of himself and will no doubt end up where he said he was going in the first place so we'll wait and see............

Apart from that all is well..........waiting for builder to pop quote in so I can send it off to insurance company and think I'll spend a bit of time today doing a bit of family history................been a while since I really looked at it.
