Had a lie in this morning as we have been getting up early all week and feel much better.
Have found that when I am tired I pick at food all day (well to be honest - I shovel it in with both hands.)
Making chicken curry for tea and finally got round to picking up my prescription at the doctors and getting some free range eggs at the local market.
(smoky)
Glad you will be able to keep the house.
Lynsay-anne
Big hug.
I thought I was unlucky with three miscarriages one after the other - having to cope with five is awful for you.
DD wants me to find her a series of books that are "like" Harry Potter.
The book people have a set of "pure dead wicked" but do not want to buy it if she will turn her nose up!
Went to our library and borrowed two of the above books and also one of the "Artemis Fowl" books to see if she took to it.
Might also have a look at the Phillip Pullman books.
DD(19) gets back from London tonight and then goes back to uni on Saturday.
Hugs to all
Martyn
Are you feeling any better?"This site is addictive!"

Evening all,
Finally got to living room to hoover before OH was ensconced with paper...was badly needed. Managed to do a little crochet....doing christening robe and bonnet for DGD 3 bonnet seems to be turning out ok.
Went to meet a friend for lunch...we hadn't met for ages so it was a long lunch, thoroughly enjoyed the chat and we have agreed to keep in touch better...she didn't have broadband until recently so now that is sorted she will be more willing to use pc!
Pasta for tea...mainly 'olio e aglio' with some ham and chorizo thrown in...went down very well and for once managed to do exactly what we wanted to eat...usually have tons left over.
Hugs to Smoky, Anniestar, Lyndsann and anyone else in need or want

((((HUGS)))) for Smoky, LyndseyAnn and Martyn.
Mellika - I agree with PurpleIvy, if you've given the pills enough time (I think they say they can take up to 2 weeks to take effect but your doctor will confirm) go back to the doctors. There are lots of different ones out there and you have to find what's right for you. Also - have you tried counselling? I think talking things through can help some people. ((((HUGS)))) for you too.0 -
Evening.
Just caught up with the end of yesterday's thread and all the news from today.
Smoky, good news about the house, at least any decision will now be yours and not one forced upon you.
Mioliere, how's your FIL doing after his op?
Hester, If Martyn 'pierces' himself, I'm sure you'll be able to tell us the correct name for it
Tru, Baz was in Casualty, I think she was the doctor that Charlie married.
Rmac, well done on passing the exam.
Aussie, I hope the Tuscan bean slop tasted ok.
Redruby, enjoy your last day on holiday.
LyndseyAnn, hugs
Catznine, I'm so pleased your OH is improving.
Rzl....was the ballet fun?
Dee, Welcome.
Dazi, hope you are feeling better.
Work today and then I called into M&S after collecting Miss Twit from school...managed to pick up a few yellow stickered things
I've found my learn how to crochet books, so I may have a play and see if I can conquer a 'granny square'
Hugs to all those in need or with poorly kiddies and OHs.
Think of those who are missing...Csarina and Mumzyof2 pop in soon.

I came home early yesterday and went straight to bed-I felt really ill. I stayed in bed for 3 hours, got up for an hour or so then went back to bed and slept right through til this morning. I felt better for having slept so much but still had a headache.
I came home early again today. the gas man came to fix the central heating-didn't have the right part(as expected) and will be back again tomorrow.
DD said she felt sick last night and again this morning-she did look a bit pale this morning but I thought she was just trying it on and sent her to school. I said if the teachers thought she was ill they would phone me and I would pick her up...They did phone me this afternoon and I had to pick her up:o
I feel really guilty now for having sent her. She is tucked up in bed and fast asleep-bless her.

Hi there, dont post on here often but I have decided to become more os as I have just been doing a bit here and there so I hope you dont mind me joing in. I study full time so not much time for it but I do want to live that way so will try as much as I can. I got my to do list all done today and am relaxing watching tv tonight while my bf strips and prepares and does all the fiddly bits in the entrace way. We have just moved into our first house and it is a victorian house that needs so much work doing to it that I want to cry. But it will get done eventually. Tomorrow I will be studying for most of the day as I have end of semester exams soon so not sure how much os stuff I will get done. Hope everyone is doing good and hugs to those who are not. xOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 086Proud to be dealing with my debts !Total Debt: Was £6368.84  now £945.36Sealed Pot Challenge 049 Aim £5000

Just got back from ballet lesson - it was fun and not half as scary as I had imagined
Somehow I don't think I'll be up for prima ballerina at the Bolshoi just yet though :rotfl: My legs are the wrong shape, for a start - I can't put my heels together without bending my knees. I spoke to the teacher about it and she said it's a common problem and I just have to put my heels not quite together
I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't find the routines too difficult to follow - they were only very easy ones this week though.
Stopped at Tesco on the way home - I've now gone over budget on my groceries for the week, and still didn't manage to remember that I didn't have any butter until I was on the bus home  The lemon drizzle cake will just have to wait AGAIN for another day
((hugs)) if you need themOperation Get in Shape

hello (again!)
well dinner went down a storm - roast chicken (yellow stickered free-range bird) with broccoli, sauted leeks and new potatoes. Yummy.
fruit (rhubarb, plum and apple) crumble and custard for pud and I also have a banana and walnut loaf if there is any spaces left to fill!!
Rzl glad the ballet was fun. I danced Ballet and tap for 14 years, but gave it up when I went to uni - rather regret it now
have a lovely evening everyone. Good night hugs to you all - esp lyndseyann, martyn and smokey and her LOs xxxr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

I've just got back from my Tap lesson! 1st one after a long lay off for various reasons but was pleased to remember most of the routines!:T
Not got the energy to read the thread - too tired but I hope everyone is well.
