    SMOKY

I am a returner to this thread and so forgive me that I knew nothing of what has been happening in your life over the last few months. I saw a post from you on yesterdays daily thread and had a look at your past couple of posts and now understand.

I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and the children.

    Hugs. x

NO line to put washing on! Will use ceiling airer as usual. need to unload WM and put next lot in.

Delivery of washbasin and unit for my new treatment room-!!!-office at home today. Was told between 9-5, but had a call a while ago to say they'll be here at 9.15ish. Must move the car so they can put it in the garage. Very exciting, but will be more so when dh is fit to carry on with the refurb of the room. Good thing I'm not depending on it for income at the moment. It will be fab to have my own space back again, been without for a year now. Dh still has cellar PLUS new garage space!

Food? supposed to be fishcakes according to the meal plan. Must try and keep eating under control. that's for another thread LOL!

    See you all later

    Good Morning All :hello:

Feeling bright & breezy at the moment as the sun is shining again but just about to go and check bank a.c's online and have a feeling my good mood might just disappear!

DS has footie training today & I believe that DD has 2 friends coming to hang about with her in the village so hopefully will have a peaceful day. DLB - I too must do the ironing today, it has been on the list everyday but I have ignored it.

Been discussing our vegetable garden with oh this morning, and have made a couple of phone calls to get some scaffold boards for the beds. Is our first one and think will be a lot of trial and error this year but will be having a good look on the green fingered board.

Have chicken tonight for dinner as it hadnt defrosted in time for yesterday, not sure if will have with chips or do a full roast - will decide later.

Off now to check the banks - wish me luck.

Hi -just sat down for five before I do the ironing!

TRU - congrats on the pregnancy; the vet must be as excited as the rest of you!

MARTYN (((Hugs))) to you - hope today is better than yesterday.

HESTER - I do so hope the Writers' Circle let you in - you have SO much to offer, most of it x-rated of course, but hey, that's what sells these days.

Well, I've actually finished my paperwork - for now, anyway, but we'll see what the postman brings. I shall do the ironing then take a walk to the shops and then come back and knit! I've worked really hard this morning to treat myself to a few hours knitting so I feel I've earned it!

Well, catch up with you all later.

    Morning all!
Going to write my list of chores for the day in the moment-I wanted to take a walk into town but feel as though I'm teetering on the edge of a flare-up, so I'm taking a day out of that regime! Plus we're hoping my phone upgrade will be delivered today-according to DHL it got to Hailsham about 4am this morning :) so we'll see!
Trying to work out the online shop too, but my brain doesn't want to cooperate! Ah well.

Have a nice day everyone and hugs to those who need/want.

    morning all,

Got up at 9.30 :D , last day of holiday today, I think we are going to pack a picnic and go and find a nice beach and chill out for the day, then off to the nice fish restaurant for dinner tonight, we went to the lighthouse yesterday and had a tour it was very interesting but not so good for someone that does not like heights :o , we then walked along the cliff paths and sat watching 8 seals basking in the sun, (3 babies still with fur ).

Need to clean up the cottage tonight,, and be away for 9.30 in the morning, its been so nice, will try to come back again.

Smokey, good to hear things are becoming a bit more positive for you xx

    Morning,

Pen-pen - There is a knitted bag in my 'beginners knitting book', it is a large rectangle of garter stitch, with the sides sewn together and lined. If you are an 'intermediate' knitter, it suggests making an i-cord plait for the handle :D

Smokey - I have just read your post from last night - I am so pleased that you are getting sorted with the house and finances etc. As Rzl said, you sound better with every post - make sure you take the time to rest properly.

Things went a bit manic last night, OHs best friend went into labour a month early, and there was loads of stuff that OH was going to do to their house before the baby arrived, but didn't get chance. He went round there and did a few bits anyway

I must have been really nice to the cat recently, because I came down to not 1 baby rabbit, but 2!!!! Must be working overtime. And he caught a bird as well yesterday (off next doors bird table might I add!!)

Today I want to sort out our office, it is !!!!!! high. Got a couple of loads of washing to put out on the line, plus another load to go in. DW will have to go in as well. I will apply for a couple of jobs too (must make it look like I'm willing).

Anyway, I had better get into the shower. Dinner will be Ham, Cheese and Potato bake (an experiment. I hope its nice)
We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment
