Hi a very quick hello from me in Ypres, Belgium. Just checking my mails for the confirmation of the next camp site.

    V. Cold Nights, but glorious Blue Sky Days, which though needing a thin jumper no coats needed in the day time. Just been round the Flanders Fields Museum, in the centre and then found a haberdashiery shop in the town centre, wool, needs, patterns, they still have magazines here with pattern ideas, the friends we are with she is into quilting so we left the lads to stand in the sun while we browsed. First night was at Bergues France, lovely old walled town, camp site right on the edges of both towns so able to walk into them, this one is only 31.60€ for 3 nights with electricity.

Off to do tea, as we are going to the Last Post parade tonight at the Menin Gate.

Aussie - one of the shops here were selling "Real Australian Anzacs" - reminded me of you.

Thanks Essex Girl - we hit the QE bridge around 1 pm and sailed over no problems.

(((Smoky))) glad to hear things are moving forward for you.

((((hugs)))) to anyone/everyone else as not time to read.
    Take care. DG

    :o Hi Everyone:hello:

I have had one of those 'nothing' days. Got up, did WM and DW, looked at the bread that should have been poking out of the top of BM and was about 3 ins high and weighed a ton. BM has been clanking like mad and pan jumping around for the last week, rang CS and after assuring CSA that I had put yeast in it and yes I did know that it turned round before cooking so that paddle released but this was happening way to soon, they are going to send me a new pan.

Then decided to finish sewing the nappy stack only to find I had run out of white cotten  have never run out of white before as used to do loads of sewing and got it in bulk. So had to take trip down to Wilkcos, got some yellow sticker stuff in co op on way back. Sat down to eat my lunch and have a catch up on here when out of the blue suddenly had a thundering headache, went to bed and have only just got up again :o

Luckily OH is not home tonight so do not have to cook tea, might just have egg on toast for me, ahhhh will have to be egg on a roll as don't have any bread :rotfl: Am going off to get a cuppa now to see if that wakes me up a bit.

(((hugs for anyone who needs one))))) (I'm not very good at remembering what everyone has said)

Tea tonight hasn't yet been planned, it will most likely be potatoes or rice.
Right I'd better go get myself moving, hope everyone has a good day.

Scrap that, DH and I are going to eat out tonight, only 1 sprog for tea as other one is out, so we decided to treat ourselves :D

    Hello all.

Things just don't seem to pick up today.
I am so depressed and the pills aren't really working.
Hope everyone's alright, just wanted to say hi.

I started to do fishcakes (ie cooked the potatoes), made a pot of lamb broth (wasn't in the plan, but an at home day, so good chance to clear fridge and freezer and watch a pot), lemon drizzle cake, bread buns (burger shape)... thought ds would be so pleased with some of that lot for tea, but he's come home and said "I'm Ill".

He's pretty much a no fuss lad, so I knew he was for real. It seems to be virus type...shivery etc. He said that a class had been isolated yesterday afternoon as there were so many off ill.

He's dozing on the sofa, but very twitchy. You still feel as helpless when they're 'big', but at least they can say what's the matter.

    Hi Meli

I don't know what pills you're on, but some of them do take a while to take effect. If you aren't happy with how you are on them, then go back to the person who prescribed them.

Hope that you start to feel better soon.

Just popping in to say hello before getting on with tea (pasta with whatever veg is in the fridge) and a bit of cleaning. I'll catch up with the rest of the thread later.

Its been a beautiful sunny day here today, not too much cloud about. Hope you're all well, hugs to anyone who isn't.

    Evening All

(((Hugs))) all round, especially for Lyndseyann, Mellika & Purpleivy's Son

Have not had a good day ironing wise - not one thing has been ironed, in my defence had to pop out this morning, had unexpected visitor, loads of work calls and because of a problem at work I need to pop in tonight (pop being a 45 minute each way journey!!).

So ironing will still be there tomorrow though larger as OH did some washing today.

Have chicken cooking and am having it with chips and salad.

No excuse to sit here any longer, so will be off and see you guys tomorrow.
