NO line to put washing on! Will use ceiling airer as usual. need to unload WM and put next lot in.

Delivery of washbasin and unit for my new treatment room-!!!-office at home today. Was told between 9-5, but had a call a while ago to say they'll be here at 9.15ish. Must move the car so they can put it in the garage. Very exciting, but will be more so when dh is fit to carry on with the refurb of the room. Good thing I'm not depending on it for income at the moment. It will be fab to have my own space back again, been without for a year now. Dh still has cellar PLUS new garage space!

Food? supposed to be fishcakes according to the meal plan. Must try and keep eating under control. that's for another thread LOL!

    See you all later

It's interesting what gets censored here, isn't it? Looks like my treatment room-with-office was too much for the censors! It never occurred to me I had put anything undesirable! lol!

Whooo HOooooooo, my unit has arrived, very excited as it's beautiful and nicely classy. Can't wait till the room is ready enough for it to go in.

The other good thing is that I was prepared for a 9-5 delivery and it arrived just after 9.30am. Had breakfast. Now need to do what one of the other posters has done and write a list. Can b much more purposeful then. Might just finish the glove that is nearly done before I start... or maybe I should start and do that while I have my coffee in a while?

Hope you all get lots done!

r mac - :T well done on passing that exam

    breakfast - oatabix
lunch - egg filled wm rolls, fruit
dinner - kedgaree, hm fruit salad

Mr Catz has taken in a dozen hobnobs for his pals at work so I will have to bake some more soon. all is going ok so he will be upping his hours to 6 a day next week, his eyes are still a bit sensitive and there is still a bit of palsy but no where near as bad as it was thank goodness. Not sure what worked, maybe a combination of things, resting and pacing, vits, steroids in the 2nd week and physio, he even tried self hynosis! (he is trained btw) we keep hearing tales of others still very ill and not leaving the house after 9 months or more!

Right off to find that cat!

    (((hugs))) to smoky

Thank you, that would be lovely :A The bag in question is in a kit from M&S. It was a gift to a friend of DD's who doesn't knit  So DD's friend gave it to DD, who doesn't knit either   Guess who does knit    The wool is really odd - it's thin then thick, all through the ball - what's that about, then  And there's enough wool for 3 bags, so looks like I'll be making one for DD's friend, too :o

I'm sat at my desk at work, feeling grumpy :o:p Wish I'd brought my knitting :rotfl:

  • Morning all :) Hope everyone is ok

(((hugs))) to anyone who needs them today

We're back from our little trip to Glasgow, DD had a great time and it was lovely spending the time with her. We went to the Science Centre, the cinema to see 'Horton hears a Who', swimming and ate out lots. She loved the hotel, had a double bed all to herself (wish i could lol) and was so good and grown up when we took her to restaurants :)

Only thing now is i can't be bothered to sort out the meal plans, shopping and cooking lol, i am doing it (got my list next to me as we speak) but i wish someone would just serve me a meal and wash up afterwards :rotfl: I've struggled a bit with the walking, round the Science Centre was hard, esp trying to keep up with an over-excited 6 yr old! I think i need to start slowing down a bit and remembering that i can't do everything, however much i think i should

I'm taking DD to a craft session at the library this afternoon, all free :) and i can wander round and choose some books in peace whilst she gets someone elses floor full of glitter and glue :D

    Have a good day all

    Kate xxx

Morning everyone, so good to hear from you Smokie, the news re the house hopefully has eased some of the pressure you have been through. Take some time for yourself you need it.
I can't deceide wether to blitz the study in readyness for decorating, I'm a decorator by trade and detest doing my own. At least when doing it for others I get paid, quite an insentive. Just thought:idea: I will give myself a payrise, I could pay me £600 an hr. :j being self-employed does have it's plus sides, I can pick and choose what I do but the downside is the Xmas parties, they're a bit lonely :rotfl: not easy pulling a cracker on my own !!
I am so tempted to wack a casserole in the oven and get out in the garden and blitz that, it's a lovely sunny day.
Managed to do 2 squares for the Smokelets last night, 1 red and 1 pink, well it's more like cherry yogurt colour, will try to post them today to Lainey Wonder Woman.
Hope you all enjoy your day.
    Beth
