Morning :hello:
Mummy piggymouse is called Baz. That's a girly name too, right?I'm sure there was a woman called Baz on Casualty  She trots over when I call her so I couldn't possibly change it

I've sorted a lot of things out over the past week, so I can finally throw myself into the whole 'new way of life' thing that I'd actually planned to start in january  I'll pop back later with more detailsBulletproof0 -

Real plans for today include trying for the third time to join the local writers circle, they keep ignoring my email applications, maybe they have already heard about me.
I hope everyone has a good day, Martyn, don't start knitting untl you feel better, I'd hate to be responsible for you piercing some part of your anatomy.
Hugs Hester
Morning all,
Hester joining the local writers circle - I've got the miners signature tune going through my head "Here we go, here we go, here we go..." I'm already picturing Hesters x-rated blogbook in the bookshops in a couple of years time <<thinks - have vague memory of encouraging her to do this a while back>><<further thinks - wonder if I can blag a copy when it happens?>>
Thinking of Martyn (aka Benthosboy) - how are you lad? Still flirting away with all the ladies on the O.S. Board? <<thinks another memory is surfacing here - of being one of the people over on another Board here encouraging Benthosboy over to join us here>>
....sometimes I wonder if I just like "stirring it"?;)I'll get me coat as the phrase goes:rotfl:
Have a good day all.....me...no chance....off to w**k again.
Promising myself ....again....that I really will tackle my "Paper Mountain" tonight....honest...really....well, think I will!0 -
morning
i'm up at a decent time today
house relatively in a good state, so quick whip round should do it. Going to make banana bread this morning and some muffins too. It's yellow stickered free range roast chicken for dinner tonight with new potaotes and green veggies. going to try and portion it before DH gets home - that way i can turn it into a rubber chicken rather than him eat the whole thing in one go!!!
hugs to everyone today - I'm in a generous moodr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Good Morning Everyone! WM is nearly finished, and BM about to go on when I've typed this! Woke up normal time today and DH has gone to work, so am planning to get the house sorted before school starts again next week. Also want to do some sewing, so must switch this off soon! Gorgeous day, but a bit chilly I think. Glad to hear things are less pressured Smoky. PenPen, hope your choir do goes well at w/e. Our choir sang at Salisbury Cathedral this past Monday - really enjoyed it and made a little break at the same time. Hope you all have a great day and that those feeling down or unwell don't have too bad a time. ((HUGS))Resolution:

Hiya everybody,
Had DGS up here today. Just dropped him home and the rain has started so that was good timing. Made a loaf of bread & coconut cake & I put on the Tuscan Bean Stew someone posted here. I think I put too much water in as it looks more like soup. I'm boiling it away madly hoping it will reduce so everyone pray for a miracle.
Smoky Lovely to read your post and that you've got a bit more breathing space with the house now. Glad the kids are ok.
MrsMix

Morning all
Up at 5am this morning to see DH off to work, then got pressies wrapped for DS who is 9 today. (I meant to do it last night but I fell asleep!). His pressies are still sitting in the corner of the room as, although he was up at 6.30 am singing 'Happy Birthday' to himself (!), he has decided to wait until DH is home at lunch time so he can be there when he opens them. At the age of 9 I would not have been able to have done that. I gave him the choice of what he wanted for breakfast, expecting him to ask for scrambled egg or beans on toast which are is favorates, but no - he wanted popcorn and candy floss!!! So popcorn and candy floss makers are now sitting in the kitchen waiting to be cleaned and I have 5 kids on a sugar rush bouncing around the house like little rubber balls!!
I got the tomato and pepper seeds planted yesterday, but didn't bubble wrap the seedhouses. I tried, but got fed up and short tempered very fast, DH said he will have a go at it over the weekend for me, bless him:)
Going to spend this morning down on the beach, home to see DH at lunch time (and for DS to open his pressies), and then out to wherever DS wants to go this afternoon, which will probably be one of those indoor soft playgrounds.
Have a good day, everyone, and hugs to those that need/want them:)0 -
