This 2nd house is:
Designed by !!!!!!
Decorated and furnished by council house refugees
Those hideous 50s bay windows shoudl have been big sheets of glass/balcony oportunities.
That entrance needed more than a couple of bits of 4x4 holding up the front door canopy.
Those front windows needed to be larger. Skimped!0 -

That's what I hate about valuations, a difference of 350k! Boggles the mind really.0 -
What a hideous house, looks completely souless ,architect should be shot!!sorry but it is a massive square box with tiny windows. £1.3 million??? wouldn't be spending that I'm afriad or living there either, can think of much nicer places!
Looks as if Beeny is pregnant again, I agree, but she seems have been on every series!!she must have about 10 kids by now??
Off to watch Grand Designs now .I like to take one day at a time....but quite often several days attack me at once...:eek:0 -
Apparently they had an offer of 1.3m but thought they could get more if they wait till the grass grows and the trees bud. They jokingly suggested £2m.
Talk about greed, they should have taken the £1.3m and ran for the hills. £1.3m would have been 350k profit for a years agrevation.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. You're right, and so is Beeny, it did look like sheltered housing
.
TBH though, if I had 1.3 mill to spend I wouldn't be spending it in this country, no matter how it looked
.
Like the couple (& house!) on Grand Designs though.......
& Kevin McCloud is girl's Sarah Beeny

I don't think there was an architect. More "bloke following what they told him they wanted".
And I think they wanted: the best council house on the road.0 -
