    The meat was
    British Beef
    topside/silverside
    rump joint.

Most packs said £5.19 on the pack. But were advertised at the end of the row at £3.99kg.

but there were about 4 with the £3.99 kg on them. I shoved them to the back and put the worng priced ones infront.

I'm not that comfortable doing this so i will only buy 1 product. Espeicall with the likes of beef.
But i then went to prescott as i was visiting a friend up there and they had it marked up correctly.

Will try that cd later on. thanks.

I don't understand the Shower Cream if it's BOGOF at £2.49 for 2 then surely that would be a fiver for 4?

It sounds like the same one I got yesterday. I was a bit wary as the difference was so great and surprised to see that it is in other shops as it looked like a glaring error.

It was end of aisle promotion there was salmon and rump joints in the same fridge, the rump joints had £5.19 per kg on them, and the sticker in front said Beef Roast £3.99 per kg.

I bought 2 at nearly £8 each and got them refunded without any problem.

There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

Yes jordylass that was the one.

I just couldn't believe the difference as well.

I can't buy 2 i just don't know why. Maybe it is because i only spend about £20 when i find my mistake.

Don't know if this one's nationwide, but the CS told me there was a printing error on the poster.

If you look at the top 40 CD's poster, Madelaine Peroux's CD is clearly priced at £7.97; yet the ticket may say £9.77. I was charged £9.77 at the till, and then went to argue for a refund. Took a bit of persuasion, but got my £9.77 back and kept the CD.
I did manage to price check on the customer machine; I tried the same trick last week, the price I was charged was correct, unfortunately, but getting a refund was not a problem. Note, they'll check the CD very carefully for damage or fingerprints, and will refuse a refund if it's not mint. Fair enough in my opinion.
BTW, the CD is quite nice, jazzy and cheerful. The opening track may be familiar to some of you. If it was a rubbish CD, I might have been tempted to return it or exchange it, either at another store or when a different CS was on duty; they didn't write 'refunded' on my receipt as they do in some stores.

    Shame - A printing error!
I can confirm this as I'm just off to get a refund now.
After checking the latest items reported on here of course!
With the CD's look at all the posters ie. Top 20, 21-40 etc. and then the shelves. There are differences. If they scan at the higher price, away you go for a refund and a free CD (or two)!

What does everyone say when they go to get their refunds on pack price discrepancies like on meat?

I try to look rather disappointed, and say "I'm afraid I've beeen overcharged for this" - showing them the item on my receipt. My aim is to come over as totally reasonable and pleasant, but just a bit upset that their wonderful shop has let me down :D

    Had a really fun day.

First Tesco's found Smoked Salmon at the wrong price 200g pack, got 6 (nothing else) went straight to CS for full refund, she would only refund 5 saying 5 was the maximum.

Second tescos got 6 more smoked salmon this time Oak Smoked scottish 100g went straight to CS who refunded all.

Third tescos, very good here was noly able to find one block of red Leicester with the wrong price.

Fourth Tescos 4 blocks of sommerset Brie mis-priced DID ANY OF YOU GO TO BOURNEMOUTH EXTRA TODAY?, CS (nasty lady) said:

"Oh arnt you clever a whole 1p wrong! I had a lady this morning who took lots including meats and gammon, we get regulars in here looking everywhere for problems, sad sad people with sad sad lives!"

I was not going to put up with being spoken to like that, i called Tesco and complained and am waiting for a call back.

It sounded like the lady they had in in the morning had picked everything listed on this site!
