Its best to go with the CS Staff, as a few have been making the shelf labels vanish

If you do see an error check the barcodes to make sure its referring to the correct product - first 6 digits on product & halfway after the slash on the shelf label

Had a lovely time again at Mr T's tonight  , got lots of nivea (whatever the hell it is  , on the buy 4 pay £2 offer), free salmon (label on shelf incorrect and someone had written the price in pen in small writing, but left the label original price as per the main printout, very slack from Mr T's expected a discussion with the CS over it but she was in total agreement that it was unacceptable.

Also got some cheese over priced by 4p a Kg (from another store, CS weren't so cooperative, started giving me the difference, when I pointed out the policy, got the Dairy manager over, he was hardly a bundle of laughs either, got refund in the end but they tried to intimidate me, which ain't going to work, it just makes me think uuuuuum that's gonna be tasty free stuff, and also I am going to hit you extra hard next time ;) and some other bits and bobs and used a couple of Joeys. :D

Not a bad evening championing the consumers cause ! Not bad for me either ! Got a new freezer ordered today, hopefully will be big enough 6.2 cuft, filled the one from a week ago already. :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • im going to try the nivea offer tomorrow morning and see how it goes, no misprices in my local tescos for ages
    ADOPT DONT SHOP......🐕🐕🐕🐕
  • got 2 gammon joints tonight, they had prices at £8.48 on them but the shelf price was £7.98 this was for the smoked type, the unsmoked type was £8.48 on the shelf price.

    Not bad today
    1 piece of beef
    12 eggs
    2 large gammon pieces.

Oh and 12 shower gels, i just keep buying them i hope that they are ok.
  • Just some of my goodies.

  • Well I had luck with the nivea shower cream but thats as far is it went in my store.

I was looking forward to getting some free CD's but someone must have reported the misprice as all the posters had been removed, grr. I think they are getting wise to me as everything was all priced correctly, its not fair! Oh I will have to go back with a bigger list of items to hunt for, I will find something free, its been too long.

What a day - my best this week.
I thought I'd check out the CD's more carefully before getting my refund on last night's error!
    Madeline Peroux:
    Shelf £9.97 Poster £7.97 - Paid £9.97

    Today was even better:
Nice 'n' Easy (3CD Box set - Tesco exclusive sticker):
    Shelf £6.97 Poster £9.87 - Paid £9.87
The very best of the 1980's (3CD Box set - Tesco exclusive sticker):
    Shelf £6.97 Poster £7.97 - Paid £7.97
    Hip Hop Classics (2CD):
    Shelf £14.97 Poster £9.77 - Paid £13.97!

"Took a flyer" on the Magic Numbers and Festival CD's but the errors on those two were in my favour so I had to pay for them! Difficult to check on the self scanner as the security packing covers the barcode.

Off to the meat and picked up 3 more Organic Topside.
They had not removed the label that I reported on Tuesday night and had re-stocked the shelf - Pack £8.49kg Shelf £7.89.
CS lady tried to tell me it was a different product until I pointed out the number in the middle of the shelf label was the same as on the product.
The end varies to indicate the price.

Nivea Shower Cream very nicely at 4 for £2 - BUY 4 not 2!

Some more Quattro blades seeing as they pay you 2p to take them away!

Thro' the tills with a Joey and a Quattro both nights made a grand total of £118.44 worth of stuff with saving of £20.43 in BOGOF and Coupons.

Back to CS for my overcharge refunds!
Lady couldn't have been more pleasant. I escorted her around the shop where she proceeded to remove the offending shelf tickets and CD posters.
Back to CS desk for refund. Visa credit stated £115.64. I thought this was a bit high but kept quiet for now. She apologised for the error and I thanked her. Got home and checked refund more carefully. I had only been refunded twice as much as I should have! My wife and my daughter smiled. I was anxious that she'd get into trouble so back I went (after tea) to the store.
I found her on the shop floor and asked if she remebered me to which she replied "yes sir I do". I told her that she had refunded me too much. She replied "I know, I made a mistake. I have cleared it with my manager and it is okay! I offered to pay her back to which she replied "no it's okay, it would be wrong to take the money back after we have refunded you!"
Adding "have a drink on me!"
I thanked her and left a "very happy chappy"!

So I've paid £2.80 for £138.87 worth of stuff (before discounts and coupons) and that includes £48 worth (16x£3) of Quattro coupons to use on future trips! I also have 229 points from the spend and using points coupons!
40 extra points for buying the meat - LOL.

A great day! Thanks Tesco. Every little helps!
    Keep Smiling
