My daughter has emailed seefilmfirst, not sure if they'll do anything but worth a try.
    Sorry you missed it too.

I mentioned the situation in the "special feedback survey" I get mailed every time, despite always having ticked "No thanks" to feedback. If they get enough complaints that way, it might at last get through to them that the situation was far from ideal.

I can understand that maybe some people printed more tickets than they should have and left others out, that's really bad but that the print out says the 11 August and then is not, plus they do not do anything on top because there is no manager. Do not write to SFF write to the Odeon a long and really harsh letter! Odeon people has alwys been really bad, that's why I do not go to my local Odeon ( Camden) it's really a cesspool! I really hope you don't let it wash over you ! Do something, what do they need a manager for? Can they not think for themselves. Who do Odeon give jobs to... morons! Do they chosen them with that specification? My God !
i think we should all do something, it can always happened to any of us! I feel very strong about this! It's ok we enjoy our films free but we should not allow anyone to abuse us. Odeon people always does this kind of thing, always. I tell you I'm no fan of them!

Pure class. Your post had me in fits Maria, it was so funny that I had to read it out to DD and had her in giggles too but most probably because I was snorting with laughter, I take it you and Odeon are not bedfellows. Thanks for making me laugh once again :T

Thanks. I didn't go back that far in the thread, and couldn't figure out what "chat" you were talking about in the post I first mentioned.

By the way, did you know that you can go to Odeon on Thursday to see a free classic film? :lipsrseal

Just been to see Get Smart in Leicester. Best movie I have seen in ages, it was full of laughs the whole way through. This will be a movie I get on DVD when it comes out - well worth paying and going to see it as well.

Just back from Miss Pettigrew. We were there quite early, 5 mins to 6 or something, and there were already people sitting in screen 8, the highest screen the Vue West End has. The cinema filled up to the brim, I don't think there were many seats left in the end, if at all. I enjoyed the film, it was a light-hearted yet very predictable story. I will give it 7/10 as I did laugh more in Get Smart!
