I was there. To be fair, I don't think it was Odeon's fault. See Film First and Warner Brothers were responsible for the promotion of the film. The cinema hadn't even received the film.

rt, I spoke with a manager who was very kind (even after this woman ahead of me was a total ***** to him). He explained the situation with the film not arriving. I was given a choice of coming back this evening, going to see another film there (or, I think, at Magdalen Street), or coming back to see Get Smart when it's released on the 22nd. Since there are already like 200 people coming to see the show tonight, plus the folks who got booted from last night, I didn't think that would be a good option. I chose to come back and see the film when it opened, as I didn't want to go to a later show last night.

Anyway, I thought the situation was handled very professionally. If you still have your voucher, I'd definitely call today and inquire about getting in to see it at a later date. I asked the manager to sign/verify mine, but I got the impression that the voucher itself would be enough.

I don't envy the people working there tonight. :)

You should have posted it here.

Since it is a bulk of tickets from time-out and T&C says
"Tickets are supplied on a first come, first served basis."

So these are allowed here, however competition for 2 tickets would not be suitable here.

free movie on a Thursday from august 14th to September 6th
  • went to watch Get Smart yesterday at Greenwich. we were there at around 6pm and the queqe started to form at ard 6.10pm.. by 6.25pm, the queqe was already very long. so, if you have a ticket for tonight, better go early otherwise if you are too late, you might not be able to get a seat. and the movie is really funny!
