I also called that number, and when I got fed up with the person I spoke to I asked for her details, and she told was that it was the Customer Transaction Charge Back Department0

This is getting far more confusing than it should be.
I submitted the claim form via the Oasis Website when I first saw it appear there.
Everytime I spoke with HSBC they kept on telling me I would have to wait for an outcome from Oasis regarding if I would get a refund or not. I kept on complaining to them and eventually the person on the phone cracked and told me to write a letter to the Internal Chargeback Department in which I did.
In my letter, I wrote that I will no longer pursue my claim against Oasis and that I will only claim against the credit card company which is HSBC. I also stated that I was not happy with the response I had from HSBC and that this would be my final letter before I would have the Financial Ombudsman involved.
Two days later I receive a call from HSBC stating that the money would be credited back into my account.
I suppose you can keep calling 0845 6039952 and ask them what you can do to get your money back.0 -

Yeah the thing is I didn't see the need to claim off Oasis, because you can choose who to claim off of, CC company or Oasis. But seeing as they are saying it is mandatory, i guess i will have to do it. As long as they don't turn around and say something else.
That number is the right one to use, because they were able to tell me what i had to do basically....0 -
Quick question: How long does it take for an email response after you submit a claim.....and what does it actually say on it?
Thanks0 -
Did you log your complaint with Barclays by phone, or post? If by post, who to?
Is it to Customers Relation, address on website?
Thanks
I wrote to the chief exec of Barclays in London.
1 Churchill Place London E14 5HP.
Take it to the top, no point in wasting time with people on the phone, state you case and be polite but firm. Good Luck !!0 -

I submitted a claim to Oasis a couple of days after the liquidation announcement, and received a reply the following day.
They attached a letter from Edward Middleton at KPMG, and all the letter really said that it was far too early to tell if we would get a full or even part refund, but they would keep creditors updated on the situation.0 -

I've tried and tried, a woman has submitted a claim over the phone. Will chase it up tomorrow.
Should I be submitting the forms in writing?
They keep fobbing me off.
I was in the same situation, i say go into a branch and get one of the customer service ppl to check the "progree" (ie whether or not teh form has been filled in- apparently they can check if an issue has been raised)
If not get it done there and then and request a print out copy of teh (non fraudulent debit/ atm transaction) form then wait at least 2 weeks (which is what i'm doing)
if there's still no news- go back to teh branch and chase up
it's tedious but i guess this is one way teh banks make money!
gl- i'll update on my progress when it happens!0 -
Just contacted Halifax over the phone.
The claim has been made as she read off the details to me, so all good in that respect.
Been told 'up to 3 months' for the claim to be processed - less pleased about that.
Guess i'll just keep on their case and see what happens.
Just glad the actual claim has been made.0
