It's just been annouced that Oasis airline has just gone into liquidation and will cease flying from Wed.
Can anyone point me in the direction of how to make a claim as my parents have just bought tickets from them?
Many thanks!

Thanks! I have instructed my parents to ring the credit card company to see what they say. They told them to ring Oasis directly but noone is answering. My parents are going to see if they can get a claims form via the credit card company.0

Read the thread on this site about Maxjet.

If you paid by Credit Card you are safe. Don't be put off by your credit card issuer saying that they can't refund you for various reasons, they are just trying to make you go away.0 -
Cathay Pacific are helping passengers who have booked tickets for travel up to 23 April.
Special ticketing arrangements have been made to help Oasis customers who had confirmed bookings on the airline over the next two weeks, effective up to and including April 23.
A special one-way Economy Class fare of £160 will be offered to eligible Oasis ticket holders on the London to Hong Kong route.
Cathay has set up a hotline on 0208 834 8893 for passengers to get details of special ticketing arrangements.

Oasis are not members of ABTA, they are not based in the UK and airlines don't tend to be members.
I would call your insurance company back and tell them they are not members and ask them what your next step is.:j Debt free since 31/01/08:j

My insurance company (travelinsuranceweb) just fobbed me off before - the spotty youth who answered the phone initally told me to contact "ATRA" before someone else corrected him.
At least now I know why they're cheap......0 -
BBC website has this:
KPMG, appointed as liquidator, advised ticketholders to call 00852 3628 0628 or 0844 482 2323 for more information.
Hope that helps.0
