Good morning:D And a beautiful sunny one it is too. I've got some errands to run, so that will be much more pleasant in the sun.
Mioliere, I so agree, going to work in the light and coming home in the light used to really *lift* my DH. Hope the rash clears quickly.
Made a big pot of chili yesterday, today I'll do a spag bol type base, then I can freeze some as sauce, and some as lasagne. The problem I have is that most of my containers for freezing are 4 people size at least:rolleyes: I need to accumulate some more two people sized containers.
Off to drink my coffee and have a quick nosey around.
Welcome to all our new friends:hello:

Morning guys :j
Bargain Rzl - The project I've volunteered for is called the Eatsome Project, The basically go round to community groups, children centres, youth projects etc but think it is only run in Cornwall. Saying that though it is run by the health promotion service by the NHS, so there could be a similar project running in your area. I could ask them to see if they know if other projects exsists up in your area if your interested? Let me know if you want anymore info about it.
Went and picked up a mini greenhouse from Argos yesterday for my vegetable, got it home to find bits missing out of it, so had to go back and get another  Made sure they checked all parts were present before leaving the shop that time. So I have that to put up today at some point, not sure when I'm gonna have time as Im a bit busy today.
Off to young mums group in a bit, but before that need to pick up some wool from a freecycler, hopefully then I can make a square for the wooligans (but I do warn you, I'm not that good a knitter!)
Need to pick youngest DS from nursery, off to clean at my Mums, need to go town and Tesco, picking my friend up to give her a lift to pick her car up thats been in the garage, pick eldest DS up from school, then come home and do stuff around the house and dinner, so all in all a bit busy today. Starting my proper hours at work tomorrow, 9-5, so need to get things done to day as I wont have the luxury of starting at 10.30 and finishing at 2.30.
The cat finally noticed the hamster last night and was all over the cage trying to get it, so in the end I had to chuck her out of the lounge. Anyone else have hamsters and cats living together? Does this stage pass? or will I have to keep them seperate and be on hamster guard at all times? :rotfl:
Right time for a shower.
Bye for now, hugs to all

Hello everyone, including all the newbies.
Not been on for a while, back to w**k now and have moved buildings and got a new computer system that seems steam driven!
Found out yesterday that I will be moving jobs/location in Aug so that has spurred me into some spring cleaning and decluttering. I hate to throw things away and am useless with Ebay, any ideas? I think I will have to see what charity shops there are locally, what sort of things will they take?
Anyway enough of me, hope everyone who is ill, feeling low or has hubbies who are upsetting them feel better soon.
Special hugs to Smoky and Martyn.
Have a great day all.

Good Morning
Long time since I posted on the daily thread!! I need to get back into some vague semblance of organisation as my house is starting to get lost in all the mess and clutter again (note to self: rejoin in the Flying thread too!)
Up at 5:30 this morning to see DH off to work then had a little tidy around before the kids got up. Went into the garden 'nettle corner' and picked some nettle tops for dinner tonight - nettle, butter bean and wild garlic soup with HM bread rolls - yummy!!I will make the soup up in the slow cooker and make double so I can freeze some for a later day, I am trying to get several meals in there for pulling out when I am too tired or busy to cook a meal from scratch.
Two wash loads done and on the line and another load in the machine- what a beautiful day to dry clothes, I love seeing a line of washing billowing out in the sun. I have also made four loaves of bread that are rising and will be in the oven shortly, along with some rolls to go with the soup tonight. Still got to make a birthday cake for DS who will be 9 tomorrow.
Planning on getting some tomato and pepper seeds planted this afternoon. I have two mini-greenhouses that I left the covers on over winter and they have cracked and are pretty useless now, so I am thinking that I may try to fashion up some sort of cover for it out of bubble wrap. I will look into that this afternoon.
Have a good day, everyone0
